My "108 Advanced Swimming Tips"

I participated in an amateur swimming competition in 2018 and was lucky enough to win two runner-up places. However, I saw a dad in Moments saying that he wanted to win a medal for his child, but instead of the medal, It's a missed opportunity, and the sense of loss is very pitiable. As I am about to become a father, of course I am under a lot of pressure. How can I be an excellent father if I don’t set an example? Although you cannot give your children a rich material environment, you can be a good role model for your children. No gift can be worth imparting knowledge and quality to children.

After practicing for half a year, I completed the "Great Law" and gave it to my daughter.

Giving meaning

Swimming not only consumes a lot of physical strength, but also has to withstand the torture of choking on water, cold, difficulty breathing, etc. If you set very high requirements for yourself, you will be mentally disturbed. The fear will increase, and the greater the difficulty, the more willpower will be consumed, and everyone's willpower is limited. Giving something a certain meaning and increasing the sense of mission can improve willpower. My daughter was born on October 8, so I only swam 1080 meters each time, hence the name "108 Dafa". Taking every swim seriously helps develop personal self-discipline habits. The more love you have for your daughter, the greater your motivation will be.

It is impossible for everyone to become an expert in every field. As long as you are already excellent before becoming 20% ??in a certain field. The 50-meter freestyle swimming speed of professional athletes is more than 20 seconds, but it is difficult for ordinary people to break through 30 seconds. I set 32 ??seconds as my limit. Set reasonable goals, practice within your own boundaries, and understand that the closer you get to the upper limit, the harder it will be to improve, so that your practice can be targeted. There are often experts visiting the swimming pool. When being surpassed, there is no need to feel inferior, because they must have paid more than us. Just keep the rhythm and follow the steps.

Set big goals and small goals respectively, review big goals frequently, and stick to small goals every day. The selection of big goals must be consistent with reality and aim more accurately to remind yourself repeatedly. For example, win a swimming medal for your child next year, or lose 10 pounds to surprise your loved ones and not let them down. Set a small goal every time you swim to ensure efficient daily practice. Before every swim, I set a total time for myself. The 1,080-meter swim must be completed within the specified time, and it must not exceed the last swimming time. Once the clockwork is wound up, the entire swimming process becomes compact. In the past, In the winter, I would shiver from the cold within half an hour of swimming. Now I am out of breath after every swim and have plenty of calories.

Diversity has become a buzzword of this era. The industry needs to be diversified, ideas need to be diversified, personal development needs to be diversified, and swimming events must also be diversified. Each swimming stroke stimulates different muscle parts and the feeling in the water is different. Each part should be stimulated appropriately. By properly experiencing each feeling, an individual can better feel the buoyancy and resistance of water, make better use of water, control water, and achieve the unity of water and man. The five individual events are breaststroke, butterfly, backstroke, freestyle, and kicking exercises.

People who swim often can swim one or two kilometers in one breath, but for me, it feels boring. Repeating a single action for a long time can make people numb, lose focus, and reduce efficiency. So I became an alternative in the swimming pool. The total length of 1080 meters was divided into 5 groups of individual events, each group 4 times. Achieving individual goals separately was the best way to achieve the overall goal:

Butterfly, backstroke , freestyle, breaststroke, each group of individual events is 50 meters each time, cross kick is 20 meters each time, rest for 1 minute between each time, swim each item 4 times before proceeding to the next group of events. Every time you practice, reduce the number of breaths as much as possible, and do it in one go. Only when your muscles feel sore and tired after one exercise is it effective. In addition to regular swimming pools, the swimming pools in hotels are generally about 20 meters. You can swim back and forth, guaranteed to be 50 meters. This distance requires about 20 strokes, which is more suitable for personal endurance and muscle stimulation.

Adding fun is a magic weapon to alleviate depression. Swimming, fitness, studying, etc. are all anti-human operations that force people to jump out of their comfort zones and repeat boring actions over and over again. After swimming for a long time, I will feel bored, just like life, but I will stretch and blow bubbles underwater during each interval, or ask a beautiful and handsome guy to swim with me, or compete with the people in the swimming lane next to me. Catch up, or ask friends, lifeguards, or lifeguards to help you take photos of yourself, etc. . . There are many interesting things waiting for us to experience, but most people succumb to some overwhelming dominant force and are restricted from "freedom" without knowing it. Many interesting things are labeled as some kind of alternative.

Swimming is originally classified as an aerobic exercise, but the broken down 1080-meter, short-distance explosive exercise is somewhat similar to anaerobic exercise. Therefore, it consumes more energy than swimming 2000 meters long distance. According to the characteristics of each swimming stroke, I put the most difficult butterfly stroke first, because if you put it last, you may choke due to lack of physical strength. Freestyle is the most explosive event, and backstroke and breaststroke are relatively easy, so It is relatively reasonable to use butterfly stroke-backstroke-freestyle-breaststroke, one tight and one loose.

Only when we are aware of scarcity can we cherish it. Of the 4 exercises for each exercise, the most effective one is often the last one, because after this exercise, it will be gone today.

Therefore, after the five individual training sessions, I will swim two more 50 meters with all my strength to create scarcity, and then make good use of it.

Many people think that learning to swim is difficult. In fact, they have not found a good teacher. Challenging the level of difficulty in stages is an effective way to overcome difficulties. Most people don't know all four swimming styles, because butterfly stroke consumes physical strength and backstroke is easy to choke, so it will dampen the enthusiasm of learning these swimming styles. When I was learning these postures, I disassembled the movements into two movements: arms and legs. I practiced them individually, and then practiced them repeatedly with fins and other tools. After the basics were formed, I took selfies and videos, corrected the details, and gradually understood the idea.

After practicing this method for half a year, the biggest improvement has been in kicking practice, because kicking has always been my least favorite. If I don’t like kicking, I will invest less. If I invest less, it will naturally become Short board. At the beginning, I could barely swim up to 15 meters by kicking in one breath. Now I can swim up to 25 meters, and my swimming speed has improved significantly. Referring to what Teacher Wu Jun said about Amdahl's Law in the computer field, investing energy in weak areas is the best choice to significantly improve performance in the short term.

Freud said that childhood experiences will affect a person's life. As parents, it is our responsibility to teach through words and deeds. When asking children, please perfect yourself first. Discover the rules and apply them, and everyone can develop their own "108 Great Laws".

Welcome to communicate and become a role model with me.
