The School Performance of Hefei No.2 Middle School

In 2007, the school achieved great success again, with a net increase of 19 percentage points, and won the first place in the college entrance examination in Hefei. In addition, in recent years, students from this school, such as Zhou Tong and Zhu Ye, have been admitted to the first-class universities in the United States and Japan with excellent foreign language quality and won full scholarships with excellent results.

In order to better show new features and comprehensively improve the level of running a school, with the care and support of provincial and municipal education authorities, this year the school canceled the enrollment plan for ordinary high schools and expanded the enrollment scale for foreign language classes in ordinary high schools. On the basis of fully tapping students' foreign language expertise, we will increase the street connection with universities at home and abroad to provide more and more contemporary platforms for students to grow into talents. The school won the second prize of teaching evaluation of senior middle schools in the city for two years in a row, and won the title of advanced unit of moral education in the city for two years in a row. It was successively rated as advanced unit of Hefei, civilized unit of Hefei, advanced unit of health in Hefei, safe and civilized campus of Hefei, garden-style unit of Hefei and green school of Hefei in 2002-2004. With the support of the Municipal Education Bureau, the "double retirement" of four school-run factories has been successfully completed, the demolition of Xiping houses and illegal buildings on campus has been completed, and more than 8,000 square meters of teaching buildings are under construction.
