I was shocked to hear the news that the Xiaozhu Mountain fire had been burning for two days and two nights. The trees all over the mountain were reduced to ashes, which was very distressing.

A friend informed via WeChat that the fire was not put out at all. Keeps burning. The town of Vanke has been burned. The villa area allows evacuation.

Yesterday morning, the area around Wuyi Mountain was filled with the smell of smoke and the sun was blocked by smoke. At 6:00 p.m., the fire burned in the Zhoujiakuang area, and the trees on Haier Avenue were all on fire. The wind direction kept changing, and Xiaozhu Mountain turned into a sea of ??fire. Looking at the video and pictures sent from the scene, my heart felt numb for a moment, and then it hurt very much. In the dry spring, the fire is fierce, the wind blows the fire, and pregnant animals, newborn cubs, old people, sick and disabled people will all die in the fire.

Large pine forests, mountains full of trees, shrubs, and vegetation will all turn into scorched earth in the fire.

The National Forest Park no longer exists. The green lungs in the development zone are deprived of oxygen. It is difficult to recreate a forest park on the northern granite mountain. What about time? It may be difficult to achieve within a few decades.

I have different feelings about Xiaozhu Mountain. I've had the experience of being a part of it.

That year, Lao Yang said he wanted to build a park in Xiaozhu Mountain. I have already communicated with Singaporean painter Chen Ruixian. He thought it was quite meaningful. It is initially determined that the main theme is stone carving. In the early stage, we first went to the mountain to take pictures. Starting from the bottom of the mountain, we took pictures of the big rocks on the roadside from different angles. Based on the photos, he initially designed the prototype and then implemented it.

I looked for photographers’ collections to take pictures.

On a sunny day, the three of us set out to go up the mountain. There are forest paths to follow at the bottom of the mountain, which become increasingly difficult as you go up. There is no way to go when we reach Futai Tong. The mountain is covered with bushes, thorns, wild leaves, and kudzu vines intertwined with each other.

Lao Yang walked by once, and we walked behind him. The anthology and I paused from time to time to see if we could keep crawling. After struggling to climb to the top of the mountain, Lao Yang asked Wenji to take a few wide-angle shots in front of a cliff. This is the highlight of stone carving. The Heart Sutra should be carved here and named "Heart Sutra Cliff".

Going up the mountain is hard, and going down is even harder. My pet dog Bart runs very happily when going up the mountain, but it is difficult for him to use his skills when going down the mountain. When I encountered a place entangled with wild vines and kudzu, it couldn't get out of it, so I had to carry it on my back. I held its butt with one hand and used a wooden stick to explore the way. The dog lay on my back and kept sliding down. I could only walk with my back arched as much as possible.

His pants were caught on the wild thorns. He thrust forward and tried his best to break free, regardless of whether they were broken or not.

When we reached the wall and had no choice, they took care of each other and asked each other to go down first and then pick me up.

In a place where several boulders stand upright, and only one person can pass by sideways, there are several unknown shrubs as thick as a bowl flourishing in the cracks of the rocks, stretching across the sky with small white flowers. . The three of us were amazed by the magic of nature.

I took a day trip to Xiaozhu Mountain in the sunshine of May. That was the first time I saw Xiaozhu Mountain entering the mountain from Liuhuabo.

When I got home and took a shower, I actually pulled out a few mountain climbers from my legs, and they were burrowed into my flesh without even noticing.

Bart was gnawing his feet and legs on the floor of the living room. I squatted down and saw that his eyelids were full of climbers. I touched the curly hair on his body and pulled out a few that had already eaten soybeans. A big mountain climber. It gave me goosebumps all over my body. I quickly called my cousin and asked him to find a way to buy medicine at the veterinary station in Xin'an. Then I gave Bart a bath and then cleaned up the mountain climber.

In the anthology, the photos taken at the top of the mountain were printed and assembled into a complete picture, including me carrying Bart on my back.

At that time, I felt that it was not feasible to build a park in Xiaozhu Mountain. It wasn't until Chen Ruixian came and the stone carving team hired from Henan came that I believed that this was really done.

Chen Ruixian designed different contents according to the shape of the stone. From his perspective standing at the junction of Eastern and Western cultures, the connotation of stone carvings is quite profound. The words "Heart Sutra Cliff" alone are 1.5 meters high each. He was at the construction site on the mountain almost every day.

The stone steps going up the mountain are laid step by step from the bottom of the mountain to the mountain. When paving the road, try not to damage a tree. Sometimes a sapling was pulled up by craftsmen. When Chen Ruixian saw it, he dug a small hole nearby, planted it, and poured water on it. He believed in Buddhism and was very pious.

The name of the park, All Wisdom Garden, means that you can walk from the foot of the mountain to the mountain and be inspired and grow in wisdom while viewing the pictures and texts carved on the stones. The mountain gate is made of several large stones. For the mining and transportation of those few stones, the lives of two people almost died!

The park was built with great difficulty. The opening ceremony was grand. Vice Mayor Zhou Jingbin and District Party Committee Secretary Chi Huadong attended and delivered speeches. Everyone present was shocked by this project.

Another summer, my friends and I went up the mountain. It was already 1:00 pm when we walked down the mountain. Very hot and very thirsty. The umbrella-shaped crown of a willow tree halfway up the mountain is shady. When you walk under the tree, you feel cool and comfortable. Several people said in unison that it was great to have trees!

No matter how poisonous the sun is, as long as there is shade, there will be a cool breeze.

Xiaozhu Mountain can be declared a national forest park because of the trees that have grown for tens or hundreds of years. A fire destroyed it. No more.

It is easy to plant trees on land. It is difficult to plant trees artificially on granite mountains! How many years did these creations of nature take? Who knows? Who can do it?

Just now my friend told me via voicemail that the mountain fires are still burning, and they are getting stronger and stronger. I wonder what will happen to Bodhi Temple and Safari Park? That is the northern end of Xiaozhu Mountain. A mountain from south to north, three days and three nights, three days and three nights of fire!
