What are the skills in the early and late stages of fireworks shooting?
Equipment: First of all, fireworks are usually released at night, of course, during the day, but you can't shoot them, can you? So first of all, it can be regarded as a kind of night scene. Why is it a night view? Because when you shoot fireworks, you will not only shoot close-ups of fireworks blooming in the air, but also include foreground and background, right? Otherwise, it would be meaningless to put a few firecrackers in an empty picture. That's not the fireworks you want. Therefore, you usually use a wide angle (I didn't say you don't need a telephoto), and it's best to use a zoom lens for convenience, because there are often many people watching fireworks, so how can there be so much room for you to focus and walk around looking for the right opportunity? If you don't have a good judgment distance, you really have to shoot. If you find it too close or too far away, you will know how annoying it is to look for opportunities in the dark. Then there is a tripod, because fireworks need a long exposure (a few seconds is also a kind of long exposure), a stable shelf and a pay-off. It's really not as convenient as paying off, but it's not as convenient as paying off.
It is best to arrive early, set the background when it is dark, and it is best to have some foreground embellishment. No, forget it. After determining the plane position, set up the venue, put the camera on the shelf, change to manual focus, focus on the distance, and then don't move the focus ring. Otherwise, when it's completely dark and you haven't focused well, you'll probably be blind if you use autofocus.
Use an aperture around F8. If the fuselage is better, ISO will be slightly higher. Use door B. These are all preparations.
When shooting, I don't mean shooting when I see smoke. I mean to observe and estimate the approximate time of fireworks from liftoff to blooming, then start shooting, then expose the fireworks as soon as they reach the air, end the exposure as soon as they blow up, see the effect, and then fine-tune this time by yourself. By the way, a little trick that everyone knows is how to shoot multiple fireworks in the same picture. Look for a black opaque card (there is really no such thing as a lens cover or hat, but it blocks the light anyway). After shooting a fireworks, don't let go of the shutter, block the lens with a card, then wait for the second one to bloom, take off the card, and so on until multiple fireworks appear.
As for the later stage, what can be realized and solved in the early stage is best not left to the later stage. For such a theme, I usually choose a film, edit it, make a second composition, and sometimes change the color temperature.
