Core point of view:

1. Huawei's design ability has always been top-notch, mainly because it will not be manufactured. In this case, it can't be called "the last generation".

2. During the life cycle of the user's mobile phone, Huawei's mobile phone has maintained a fluency of 36 months, which is actually equivalent to the ecological fluency of Apple's iOS.

3. Huawei is now more inclined to launch full-scene products, including notebooks and watches.

What Huawei needs to do is to gain time, exchange time and delay time as much as possible.

Huang Haifeng: I agree with the "machine emperor", but I still have reservations about the "last generation". Because this generation is not Huawei's own research and development capabilities, but also the loss of R&D personnel. Huawei's design ability has always been top-notch, mainly because it cannot be manufactured. In this case, it is not the last generation.

If future conditions permit, or if China's industrial chain keeps up, Huawei will do well. Its design ability, talents, technology and patent accumulation are all available, and some professional problems will also be solved.

The title of "Machine Emperor" refers to the strongest and best, and it must be innovative, and there are things that others can't do. Whether it is the AI performance of NPU or BP communication, it has really achieved what others can't. For example, it is the first 5nm SoC chip. The 5nm chip has been commercialized by Apple and Huawei. Apple's side is still in the form of plug-ins. So from this perspective, Mate 40 is indeed the "machine emperor".

Then there is its camera photography ability, which innovatively improves RYYB's practice and is also the leader of innovation. Of course, this is not necessarily the Mate series, and the P series is also in use. Out of a unique route, to achieve a better sensory experience of dark light shooting.

There is also a charging problem. Because the Mate series has always focused on long battery life, I expected it to have an ultra-fast 100 watt fast charge, and finally it released 66 watts. A major reason for Huawei's choice is to achieve balance among all parties. On the one hand, it can quickly fill the mobile phone in half an hour, on the other hand, it will not particularly damage the battery, and there will be no security risks. This flagship product must ensure reliability and safety, because once each product is produced, it requires higher reliability, such as Mate series, which is of the order of 1000 to 20 million.

Finally, the brand power. I am willing to buy and tell others that I use this brand of mobile phone. Users like Apple are very proud, and Huawei users are also very proud. This brand power must be achieved. Brand power is supported by innovative basic technology.

Sun Yongjie: The "machine emperor" is fine, but the "last generation" is not.

Because we hope that Huawei will go on forever, innovate constantly, and provide products with a very good experience for the market and users.

As flagship machine, Samsung, Apple and Huawei are all representatives of flagship machine. The route they take is that flagship machine pays more attention to stability and balance.

In addition, Mate40 uses a 5nm chip, including a larger battery. Even heavy users can charge the battery once a day, which may not be used up in one day. So this is one of the reasons why it does not use a particularly large wattage fast charge. This just proves that Huawei has the strength to extend the battery life of mobile phones through chip innovation and system optimization. This proves Huawei's innovation, and its confidence in innovation is to use technology to bless products.

As for the high brush. First of all, the application should support high brush. If the application does not support it, it is meaningless to brush high. Secondly, high brush really consumes power. From a balance point of view, for example, upgrading Huawei to 90HZ is a very suitable refresh, which is higher than 60HZ and lower than the so-called 144HZ. There is an equilibrium in the middle.

Technically, it is not out of date, but it is very practical. It is necessary to ensure that users can experience a higher refresh rate than the traditional 60HZ in some applications on the basis of the main endurance experience, which reflects the balance of Huawei's smart phone design. As flagship machine, you should have this idea. Not only Huawei, Samsung and Apple, but also do this.

Some highlights are outstanding, but the overall experience is relatively balanced, which actually reflects the capabilities of flagship manufacturers of smart phones.

Huang Haifeng: Users have different pain points. Some people pay special attention to taking pictures, some people pay special attention to the smoothness of the system, some people don't like the high cost of changing machines, and some people like to try better and more exquisite things ... So if Android users want to buy a mobile phone with good performance, long battery life and safety, Mate 40 series can still be recommended.

If you are an Apple user, iPhone 12 is the first iPhone to realize 5G. Although this 5G is a bit backward, at least it has been realized, which will allow you to continue some original experiences better. Of course, the iPhone also has some other performance improvements, such as ecological aspects. Personally, I suggest that iPhone users might as well try using flagship machine with Android. After you use it, you will find that there are many aspects, such as battery life, taking pictures and fluency, which are much better than you think. I know a lot of people who have been using iPhone. When they use the Android mode, they found that Android has made great progress in recent years. They always thought that Android was still in runs, and it was slow to take pictures.

There is also the problem of preserving value. For example, Apple users trade in their old ones, and the older generation can still get a lot of money when they sell them. Now Huawei flagship machine is also very valuable. So don't worry about this.

I prefer Huawei's flagship. Of course, users can choose their own brands. I want to emphasize that many people say that it is unpatriotic not to buy Huawei, but it is patriotic to buy Huawei. This matter should not be linked. I have investigated many people. In fact, none of them bought domestic brands because of patriotism.

So I suggest you choose according to your own preferences. Domestic mobile phone manufacturers should also continue to maintain rapid and diverse independent innovation.

Sun Yongjie: Mate 40 was released this time. Huawei's mobile phone promised that it would not be stuck for 0/8 months, and now Mate 40 has been upgraded to 36 months. According to statistics, the longest replacement cycle for mobile phone users is about 30 months. Huawei's mobile phone has remained smooth throughout its life cycle and has not been stuck for 36 months. After 36 months, its fluency only decreased by 2.5%. In the life cycle of the user's mobile phone, Huawei's mobile phone maintains this fluency, which is actually equivalent to the ecological fluency of Apple's iOS.

As for whether to choose iPhone 12 or Mate 40, it is also because of habit. For example, some Apple users may feel out of habit that they may not be used to migrating to the Android ecosystem.

But in fact, Huawei's entire system has been humanized, and data migration can be easily completed. The biggest trouble before was to transfer from one ecology to another, but Huawei has solved this problem well now, and it can easily transfer from Apple's ecology to Huawei's Android ecology.

If I have to recommend it, Huawei Mate 40 is the first choice. Radish and cabbage have their own tastes. I'm not saying that Apple's iPhone 12 is not good. If you are used to its ecology, you can choose it. And compared with iPhone 12, Apple's iPhone 1 1 has also greatly upgraded its image. You can continue to choose Apple iPhone 12.

Huang Haifeng: Huawei is now more inclined to launch full-scene products, including notebooks and watches. Huawei's notebooks have ranked very high in the high-end field. Watches are already the largest watch factory in China, and speakers and headphones are selling well. This is also their consumer electronics business and CBG's product line, and they will work hard next.

In addition, in overseas markets, Huawei is making efforts in HarmonyOS system and HMS. HMS can enable Huawei's overseas mobile phones to cope with the situation that GMS can't be used, and it can also improve software capabilities. If this area is ecological, it is actually very good. Like Google, Google also has its own branded mobile phone, but to be honest, Google mobile phones are basically negligible. In this case, Huawei's application ecology still has a lot of room for development.

As Yu Chengdong himself said in his speech in August, although the lighthouse has been extinguished, there are still developers behind it, 6.5438+0.8 million developers. It is still a starry sky, and the market space is large. Of course, I hope that some external environment will gradually improve, so that all mobile phone manufacturers can compete in a fair environment, and everyone is fighting for their own R&D ability, innovation ability, market ability and brand ability. Stumbling in the supply chain is really bad.

Sun Yongjie: I'm not sure how long this final ban can be implemented and how long this non-market factor can last. This is also changing. What Huawei needs to do is to buy time, exchange time and delay time as much as possible. For example, smart screens, laptops, headphones and smart speakers, including smart watches, are all so-called Internet of Things devices. It is "1+8+N" (that is, a smart device with a mobile phone as the main entrance, eight common terminal devices such as speakers, tablets, PCs and watches as the auxiliary entrance, and then 1+8 is used to connect the whole scene, where n refers to the Internet of Things device). Since "1" is blocked now, we "65433"

For example, notebooks that have not been launched for a long time ranked second in the notebook market in China last quarter. Smart watches are also the first in China. The same is true for speakers, and the development momentum is very strong. This can make up for the losses caused by some non-market factors in Huawei's mobile phone business. Second, I think Huawei can keep innovating in the field of innovation without restrictions.

By the way, the on-board system is also working now. At the International Communication Exhibition, the in-vehicle intelligent systems displayed by Huawei, including sensors, software and a series of platform solutions, are all solutions of non-market factors.

Secondly, will there be partners in the future? Our partners in China will join hands with Huawei. The development of a chip industry is really not a matter for Huawei alone. I also appeal to all the related chip manufacturers in China, and Huawei can't make a difference. What are other manufacturers in China industrial chain doing? For example, ZTE, such as SMIC. Now the chip has reached 14nm, which makes rapid progress. Can we maintain this momentum and spend these two or three years together?

First, we expect some favorable changes in the external environment. Second, can it develop faster than it is now through these two or three years? This is crucial. The National Fund has invested in the chip industry as a whole, and now we are doing it with the strength of the whole country. Therefore, the entire industrial chain needs to work together to put all these things on a Huawei enterprise. I don't think this is fair.

Now, I think this idea is correct, whether Huawei builds HarmonyOS system or HMS ecosystem. Not to mention other fields, only mobile phones, such as Apple, are now used by many users to make iPhone 6, because the card is not smooth. It has a lot to do with its ecology and system.

Because my hardware development is blocked now, through my software and my system, I put existing users, such as Huawei, in one billion device users, of which 700 million are smartphone users. In the future, even if I encounter the worst case, in one to two years, during the user replacement cycle, or after extending the replacement cycle, will users still get the best experience on the existing Huawei mobile phones, so as to retain these users? You don't have to migrate to another platform. Maybe in the next two or three years, once the situation changes, these users will still be mine. Huawei's strategy is very wise from both technical and industrial perspectives. From its own point of view, it is also very clever.

The hard one won't work. I'll make the soft one. It doesn't matter if you block me. Now that I'm running, I want to keep my users and provide them with the best service on my existing basis. Through service, through experience, through system update and innovation, through my application, retain users. This is Huawei's own strategic starting point.

Huang Haifeng: I would like to add that I am still optimistic about the industry in China. I am also optimistic about China's open mind. We didn't say that we should do something independently behind closed doors. We are still doing it openly, but since you are making trouble, I won't play with you for the time being.

Furthermore, national policies are better, such as national tax policies. Now enterprises in many places are joining the semiconductor industry chain, which shows that the semiconductor industry is really good. There may be some waste, some trial and error, some speculation. But we have such a big ecology and such a big market, whether in the operating system or in the field of chips, we will certainly cultivate an industrial chain that plays an important role in the world. Absolutely. It's only a matter of time.

Q: In terms of system stability, can Huawei be the same as Apple? Which is better than Huawei in the application of new technologies?

@ Huang Haifeng: The system is comparable. The data of so many markets proves to us that so many users have migrated from Apple to Huawei. Many users have verified it for us. Needless to say, I heard people say. Just look at the final market data and you can see what is going on.

To tell the truth, in the high-end market, Apple has advantages in the markets above 5,000 yuan, 7,000 yuan and 8,000 yuan. In this case, Apple must focus on stability, because I am the boss. Why should I take the risk? Therefore, like squeezing toothpaste, it will slowly innovate, such as some dual-camera functions, and other industries are similar. I'll bring it over and use it again.

Huawei can account for 40% of the high-end market in China, comparable to Apple. But overseas, there is still a long way to go because of some influences now and the accumulation of apples in the past. So Huawei's innovation may be more radical than Apple's. Of course, Huawei itself is an innovation-based enterprise, and its engineer culture is actually very strong, although it is being diluted and softened as much as possible. From * * * to teachers, everyone cares about technological innovation and progress. Huawei uses some innovative technologies more than Apple.

Sun Yongjie: Take Huawei flagship machine as an example. It should be similar to Apple, and even better than some of its applications. Another key point is that Huawei is a manufacturer in China, and many of its applications and services meet the needs of users in China. For example, we can't use many of Apple's services. So relatively speaking, it is also the weakness of Apple. Every company has different innovative ideas and methods, and Huawei attaches great importance to innovation. From the perspective of R&D investment, it should be 15%, which is very high.

What do I use in Huawei's latest? Apple pays more attention to the application of a mature technology. Huawei is more like giving you a tube of toothpaste. You can use it all. I will have new toothpaste next time. This may be the only tube of apples. I wish I could squeeze it for five years before you use it up. This is a popular example.

No matter what kind of innovation, we need to have this innovative gene and its accumulation in it. For example, the latest technology application should bear its risks, so how to minimize its risks, or no risks, is also a technical consideration.

In short, both companies have different ways of innovation, but they also need an innovation support.

Q: If Huawei can't launch the last flagship machine on time next year, who will benefit more from the market share it has released for several mainstream mobile phone manufacturers?

Huang Haifeng: Apple will benefit the most, but Samsung will not benefit much. OV, Xiaomi, they have made some progress overseas at present, and they all have some gains. In China, the three companies are equal, and no one says whose high-end machine is particularly outstanding. These manufacturers give people a feeling of relying on supply chain products in brand power and innovation. So OV, Xiaomi, their high-end products are not particularly many, or their market share and occupation rate are particularly high, and each (in the high-end mobile phone market) is a single digit.

Sun Yongjie: According to statistics, in the high-end market of China in the first half of this year, Apple and Huawei were basically equally divided, each accounting for more than 40%.

If Huawei can't launch the heavyweight flagship machine on time next year, Apple will definitely be the biggest beneficiary in the high-end market of the domestic market. Other manufacturers want to top this market, and their brand support is not enough, so the biggest beneficiary of this market is in China, and it must be Apple.

The low-end market may also be affected. In the low-end market of China, OV is definitely a big beneficiary, and it may take away some market share that Huawei has lost. From the perspective of overseas markets, Europe is Huawei's main battlefield. The biggest beneficiaries of overseas markets are Apple and Samsung. Xiaomi has developed rapidly in the European market, especially in western Europe. Oppo and vivo are also trying to seize Huawei's market share lost due to some non-market factors.

Therefore, domestic OV benefits in the low-end market, and the high-end market is beneficial to Apple. Then overseas and Europe, and then Apple and Samsung will benefit at the high end. OV and Xiaomi may seize some low-end market share in Europe.
