A book on photogrammetry

The book Photogrammetry truly reflects the basic principles, methods and connotations of contemporary photogrammetry, which is convenient for connecting the past with the future, accelerates the development of photogrammetry, provides a complete teaching scheme for both teachers and students to learn independently, and meets the teaching needs to the greatest extent.

This book can be used as a teaching material for correspondence courses for undergraduates majoring in surveying and mapping engineering, and can also be used as a reference for teachers, students, engineers and researchers of other related majors. /kloc-in the middle of the 0/9th century, photography technology was applied to measurement as soon as it came out, and photogrammetry was born. Photogrammetry begins with analog photogrammetry, and after analytical photogrammetry, it enters the digital photogrammetry stage, realizing the transition from manual operation to semi-automatic and automatic processing. Since 1980s, with the development of photogrammetry, the specialized courses of photogrammetry have developed from one course to three courses: basic photogrammetry, analytical photogrammetry and digital photogrammetry. After the publication of Academician Wang's masterpiece Principles of Photogrammetry, several sets of teaching materials, such as Basic Photogrammetry, Analytical Photogrammetry and Digital Photogrammetry, have been published for the three courses of Photogrammetry. Although these textbooks are rich in connotation, including the new research results of photogrammetry in recent 20 years, some of them contain a considerable number of old theories, old instruments, old technologies and old methods. If we continue to use these textbooks, it will inevitably affect the study of undergraduates, the examination of graduate students and the teaching of teachers. In order to eliminate outdated content, introduce the latest research results of contemporary photogrammetry, and cultivate students' comprehensive quality and innovative ability, it is urgent to rewrite a new textbook of photogrammetry on the basis of the original textbook, which truly reflects the basic principles, methods and connotations of contemporary photogrammetry, facilitates the link between the past and the future, accelerates the development of photogrammetry, provides a complete teaching plan for teachers and students to learn independently, and meets the teaching needs to the greatest extent. This is the main purpose of writing this book.

This book can be used as a teaching material for undergraduate and correspondence courses of Surveying and Mapping Engineering. It can also be used as a reference for teachers, students, engineers and researchers in other related majors.

This book is divided into nine chapters. The first and ninth chapters were written by Zhang Jianqing. The second, third and seventh chapters are written by Wang. The fourth, fifth, sixth and eighth chapters are written by Pan Li and edited by Zhang Jianqing.
