Plot summary:

Jay is a dock worker. He once dominated the middle school campus because of his super physical fitness, but now he can only work as a low-level blue-collar worker. Jay was recently divorced and living with a 17-year-old son and a 10-year-old daughter. He became increasingly estranged from his two children, but he chose to evade responsibility and remain indifferent.

As the days passed, on a Monday, a strange electromagnetic storm destroyed the energy system on the earth. His daughter felt uneasy, and Jay comforted her that it was nothing serious. But then countless huge three-legged chariots emerged from the ground, and aliens descended from the sky and started killing in the chariots. For a moment, everything was turned upside down, and people could only scream and run away.

Jay panicked at first, but then the instinct of an excellent athlete came into play. He led his children all the way, hoping to survive the catastrophe.

Only during the occasional stop, Jay had time to think: Will the aliens succeed? Is there still hope for the earth? Although he was unable to save mankind, during his escape, Jay began to re-establish the relationship with his children...
