Pingyao is one of the existing county-level ancient cities in China, which basically retains the original appearance of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. There are Confucian Temple, Qingxuguan, Xianya, Rishengchang, Erlang Temple, Baichuan Pass, Gate Tower, City Wall, City God Temple, Temple of Wealth, Queen Mother Wei Ticket, Lei Lvtai's former residence, China General Chamber of Commerce Museum, Tianjiang Lane Museum, North China First Escort Museum, Tibetan Newspaper Museum and China Qianzhuang Museum.

You can play in Pingyao for half a day, but accommodation in Pingyao is expensive and nothing special. So I suggest you take a bus back to Taiyuan after eating in Pingyao, or eat your accommodation outside Pingyao (not in the city), and then take a bus or train (you can take the train at five or six o'clock) to Taiyuan the next day. First, buy a ticket back, then play in Taiyuan for half a day, and return to Hebei by bus in the afternoon.
