Automatic Alignment of "Dang" Sentences in Couplets

? Couplets, also known as couplets, are a wonderful flower in China's excellent traditional culture. As a unique literary work, the General Principles of Couplets stipulates that the basic rules of couplets are six elements, namely 1. Sentence equivalence; 2. Part of speech counterpart; 3. Structural correspondence; 4. Rhythm counterpoint; 5. Horizontal opposition; 6. Form is linked with meaning. Among them, "structural correspondence" emphasizes that the structure of the upper and lower links should take care of each other, "corresponding to each other and balanced." However, in the skill of choosing words and making sentences, we can use self-correcting rhetoric to make seemingly unpaired words, phrases and clauses in the upper and lower couplets form a neat confrontation. According to my own creative experience, I divide sentence self-alignment into three types, namely, word self-alignment, phrase self-alignment and clause self-alignment. Now I will list the relevant examples in my usual creation as follows and share them with beginners of couplets.

First, the text is self-correcting.

? It is a rhetorical device in which a single word in the upper couplet is combined with a word with the same part of speech after confrontation, and forms a neat confrontation with words with the same position, the same structure but different parts of speech in the lower couplet.

For example, Spring Festival couplets:

A pair of Spring Festival couplets;

Meet again after three drinks.

? In this couplet, "left" and "right" at the end of the couplet are two directional words, and "Tuan" and "Yuan" at the end of the couplet are two adjectives, which do not meet the requirements of duality according to the rule of "part of speech versus goods", but "left" and "right" are self-correcting, and so are "Tuan" and "Yuan".

Another example is the word studio:

The meaning of the book urges ten thousand horses vertically and horizontally;

Mo Tao hanged Qian Fan gloriously.

? In this couplet, the "vertical and horizontal" in the upper couplet and the "majestic" in the lower couplet are composed of nouns and adjectives respectively, thus forming a working pair.

? Another example is the "Tian" in the book "The Wind is Clear, the Gas is Positive, and the Fire is Burning: Everything Flourishing and Tempered by Dry Hammer", and the "Tian" in the book "Ling" by Lianzhong: The water always worships the Sect, changing the tide and surging, still heroic: prospering the north, planting a brilliant ceremony, and enjoying the sudden wind of heaven and earth "by Lianzhong at the north gate of Jingzhou Ancient City (Chaozong Building). In the Spring Festival couplets, "Hongfu lasts forever, Gao Tang is drunk and reunited: the wind is positive, and the new dream welcomes the mighty spring", and the "reunion" in the couplets is "mighty"; To commemorate the 40th anniversary of reform and opening-up, the couplets "Forty Years of Synchronization, Strange Mistakes, Looking Up to Beidou: Nine Wan Li Opens Weather, Looking at Beautiful Mountains and Rivers, Leaping East Wind", Couplets "sonorous" versus "meteorological", "magnificent" versus "splendid", and so on.

Second, the phrase is self-correct.

? It is a rhetorical device, which combines one or more phrases with the same structure in this sentence and corresponds to antithesis to form antithesis.

For example, the Photography Association:

Enjoy autumn and spring, freeze flowers and fruits;

Long guns and short guns focus on the soul of water slopes and mountains.

? In this couplet, the first couplet "Autumn Fruit and Chunhua" consists of two subject-predicate structures, which are self-linked, and the second couplet "Long Gun and Short Gun" consists of two partial couplets, which are also self-linked. Therefore, Autumn Fruits and Spring Flowers and Long Guns and Short Guns are a neat pair, although they have different structures. In the same way, the "flower and fruit" in this couplet are two partial phrases, while "water and mountain soul" are two subject-predicate phrases, which are also self-aligned with appropriate sentences.

Another example is calligraphy training:

There is a person who keeps grinding inkstone, that is, he often faces Jin Fan of Liu Guyan:

Don't be lazy in spending money, study hard and level people.

? In this couplet, the upper couplet "Liu Gu Yan Jin" is composed of two subject-predicate structures, which are self-aligned, while the lower couplet "Kaipingzong" is composed of two partial structures, which are also self-aligned. So "Six Valley Yanjin" and "Horizontal and Vertical" belong to the working pair.

? There is also a joint WeChat platform such as Jingchu Liantan to create a joint "WeChat love, the more flat the mountains, the more frequent the songs; Golden Rooster raised his voice and invited tang style Song Yu and * * * Drunken Spring to join forces with "Pingshui Mountain" against "tang style Song Yu"; Fengyu Bridge in Ji Cheng Ancient Town and "Traveling from north to south, a rainbow is connected with a distant dream; Spring rain, the Millennium ancient town bathes in Zhao Hui ",and Lianzhong's" traveling north and walking south "is opposite to" spring rain "; The school canteen "has sweetness in bitterness. After the storm, looking at other years, Wanli will present a bright future in the cloudy period, a combination of "ups and downs" and "through the storm"; Mr. Qin Lao' s 80 th birthday couplet "After a storm comes a calm, the eight ranks are magnificent; Floating mountains and keeping the sea, a hundred years of chic spring glow ",and" Rain clears up "in Lianzhong vs" Floating mountains and keeping the sea "; Shuxiang Liancui Yingchun Lian "came from the depths of 5,000 years, horizontal and vertical, carefully selected and innovative; Drifting 80,000 miles away, crossing the mountain with water, makes you intoxicated in good spring scenery, connects "horizontal and vertical" with "crossing the mountain with water", "choosing words and making sentences" with "touching the nose and touching the heart", and so on.

Third, clauses are self-correcting.

? It is a rhetorical device that one or more clauses in couplets are combined with clauses with the same structure in this sentence, which corresponds to antithesis. Such as Jingzhou Ancient City Alliance:

Flowers are full of Jingshan, waves are full of Chu water, and spring rhyme is thousands of miles;

Longteng New Dream, Feng Wu Ancient City, Hao Hao Dongfeng Nineteen Heavy.

In this couplet, the first and second clauses of the first part of the couplet "Flowers bloom in the Jingshan Mountain, and the waves sing in the Chu River" are self-correcting, and the first and second clauses of the second part "Longteng New Dream, Feng Wu Ancient City" are self-correcting, so the whole couplet is on it.

The bottom line is a complete pair of workers.

Another example is the academic association:

After the classic songs are sung, the new swallow pecks at the mud, and the rooster sings: open your mind, celebrate the red Chu, and dream of chasing Kyushu. Here it is. "A New Face Telling a Story" and "Lianhong Three Places", "Singing Xiao" and "Chasing Dreams in Kyushu" do not meet the requirements of antithesis, but because the first couplet in "Pecking Mud, Rooster Singing Xiao" uses this sentence to correct itself.

It is the same to use the bottom line, even the red three Chu, dream of chasing Kyushu.

Right, so the up and down links are correct. Another example is the Jingzhou Development Association, "Longteng economy, headwind civilization." Multi-poles stand in the forefront, and the ancient city has made great efforts in a new era: Yan dance is cool and upright, and drums are rolled in March to promote great rejuvenation. The antithesis between "Longteng Economic Civilization Wind" and "Yan Dance Breeze, Singing Righteousness" in the couplets of Jingzhou Ancient City: "Qin spreads a picture scroll, the city is full of breeze, and the new face is happy to cut thousands of miles of green; Plums reflect the waves, the door is bright, and the ancient capital is full of fragrance. In the couplets, "Spring is full of pictures, and the city is full of wind" to "Mei Yinglang, full of dawn": congratulations on the establishment of Shenzhen Couplet Society, "South China is full of east wind, and Xi Zhang Peng is full of clothes, with distinctive features; Step on the steed and join the altar, watch the gathering of talents and draw a grand plan with strokes. In the couplet, "Zhang Peng Jinyi, Shoulder the Characteristics" is just right for "Gathering talents, drawing a grand plan with a pen"; College entrance examination inspirational meeting "ten years of thorns, June flowering, a hundred years of results;" Kyushu rides a whip, and Wan Li has a sunny spring breeze. In the couplets, "Flowers bloom for a hundred years in June" is opposite to "a red sun, a spring breeze in Wan Li"; Jianli County was awarded the title of "China Couplet Culture County" and "China Best Couplet Culture County". It was the most unforgettable feat of "six advances" in the small town. It rained red and the spring breeze was green, and Zhang Fengyi was happy. Two lines of elegant sentences add joy, and eventually the altar will be brilliant and the column will be glorious, aiming to expand Pengcheng. In the couplet, "the lake moistens the rain and the spring breeze blows the green" adds luster to the couplet altar and columns.

? The flexible application of counterpoint skills in couplets can not only make the antithesis of upper and lower couplets more flexible, but also make the connotation and extension of couplets more extensive and make couplets more tense. Self-alignment of antithetical sentences is widely used in couplet creation. In addition to the antitheses listed in this paper, there are self-alignment of each word, self-alignment of most unequal clauses and self-alignment of multiple clauses, which are also called self-equivalence of parallelism sentences.
