How to measure light with mobile phone

Let's first take a look at how the mobile phone measures light and its measuring skills.

1. Understand our concerns:

We all know that cameras have a fixed focal length. When our camera moves, the focus will also move, and the focus determines the metering. Our mobile phone is focused by finger clicking, so metering has a great relationship with our focus (the position of the finger point), and the black place will become very bright.

2. Look at the clarity of focus adjustment:

There are still many functions provided by focusing, which can not only adjust the brightness (light and shade) but also adjust the clarity of metering. When we click on the focused object, it will be in the center of focus and displayed more clearly than other places.

3. There is no standard measurement scheme:

Many friends will ask me, how does the mobile phone measure light? The mobile phone is not a camera, and there is no meter for metering, but we can look at the feeling in the picture, whether it is too dark or too bright, and re-select focusing and metering.

4. restore the original appearance:

Our mobile phone or camera, we want to record the normal appearance. If the photometry is wrong, a photo is worthless. This overexposed picture destroyed its original scene.

5. The dark part has a bigger later choice:

If you are really not sure how to get a reliable photometric value with your mobile phone, I suggest you take the photo darker, because it can be adjusted later, but it can't be too bright.

6. Pay attention to composition when shooting:

In addition to our photometry, we must first determine the composition. The composition of the mobile phone itself has a wide perspective. If you want to shoot people, you can get closer and let everyone play with the scenery.

7. Carry out subsequent correction:

There are many things that we can really correct with the built-in posts on our mobile phones. For example, I said that the photo you took was dark, the exposure was adjusted, or it was adjusted to be brighter, and the screenshot removed irrelevant things.

The metering system of digital camera generally measures the brightness of the reflected light of the object being photographed, which is also called reflection metering. According to the different placement positions of metering elements, metering methods can generally be divided into external metering and internal metering:

L) External metering: In the external metering mode, the optical path of metering element and lens is independent. This metering method is widely used in head-up viewfinder shutter cameras with sufficient sensitivity and accuracy. Single-lens reflex cameras generally do not use this metering method.

2) Internal metering: This metering method is based on the lens and is called TTL metering. Consistent with the shooting conditions, it can be automatically corrected when changing the camera lens, changing the shooting distance or adding a color filter. At present, almost all single-lens reflex cameras adopt this metering method.
