Going to an adobe school in an uninhabited village in rural Shanxi aroused sad memories.

In autumn, photography is busy. Taking advantage of the sunny Sunday, the author invited several photographers from Linfen to shoot autumn scenery in the mountains and countryside, hoping to create some good photographs.

Go east, cross Fushan Mountain, then go up the mountain and enter Qinshui County, Jincheng. From a distance, there is a small mountain village on the hillside, which is beautiful against the red leaves and yellow leaves. The author and his party stopped and walked into this small mountain village.

In this small village, there are only a few families and a dozen houses, most of which are old houses. The roofs of several old houses are covered with slate tiles. There is an old house with three rooms in the middle of the village, and the words "study hard" are written on the wall. It seems that it has been many years.

Several families in this village have become empty villages. The buildings in the village are built on the mountain, scattered and orderly, and the doors of every household are locked, and the doors are half-height weeds. It seems that people will not live long.

The buildings in this village are very distinctive, with stone foundations, adobe walls and tile houses. There is a pigsty under the yard and a tree full of fruits in the middle of the yard.

The author and his party walked around the village and finished reading it soon. I feel that the village is really desolate. Walking to the end of the village, which is also the lowest place, I met two old people sitting in the sun at the gate of the courtyard, only to know that this village is called Duangou, which belongs to the farthest edge of Qinshui County and borders on Fushan County in Linfen.

Only the old couple still live in the village. The villagers all moved to the new countryside with good conditions, and young people also accompanied their children to study in the county. It is the old couple who can't bear to live in the old house all their lives and still have a few acres of land. They have planted some vegetables at the gate of the courtyard, raised a dozen chickens and a dozen boxes of bees, and lived a quiet life.

When they met the author and his party, they talked about it in Kan Kan as if they hadn't seen a speaker for a long time. They also said that their ancestors all escaped from Henan and lived a self-sufficient life for generations. In recent years, newly built roads pass by the village. After accepting new things, the villagers all left the old village and made a living in places with good conditions. Our son and grandson are also outside, and we are old, guarding this small village to spend our old age quietly.

After taking pictures of some distinctive ancient buildings in the village, the author and his party came up with an idea. It would be great if we could make this place a homestay and attract people from the city to come here for the summer and see the red leaves all over the mountain.
