The purpose of China Photojournalism Society

The aim of China Photojournalism Society is to actively carry out academic activities at home and abroad under the guidance of Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought and Deng Xiaoping Theory, and make efforts to promote the development and prosperity of photojournalism and build a photojournalism system in Socialism with Chinese characteristics. The main activities are: holding national excellent news photography works selection and special news photography competitions and exhibitions; Organize the annual meeting of national photojournalism theory and the national photojournalism seminar for newspaper editors; Editing and publishing photo albums, books and newspapers; Training news photography team; Organize international photojournalism academic exchanges, competitions and exhibitions.
