Xie Chengxiang’s life experience

Enlisted in the army in 1984 and currently works in the Propaganda Department of the Political Department of the Air Force of the Chinese People's Liberation Army.

In 1986, "Flowers" won the first prize at the Air Force Tenth Army Art Exhibition. Tianjin People's Fine Arts Publishing House published two New Year pictures, "Tiger Roaring on Moon Night" and "Tiger Ascending and Descending the Mountain".

In 1987, Shanxi People's Fine Arts Publishing House published a New Year painting called "Two Tigers". The work "Landscape" won the first prize at the Political Department of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Air Force Dual-Use Talents Calligraphy, Art and Photography Exhibition.

In 1988, "Two Tigers" won the Baotou City Golden Deer Literary Creation Award. His works have been exhibited in Singapore, Canada and Malaysia. In the same year, the overseas edition of "People's Daily", "People's Liberation Army Daily", "China Youth Daily", and "Air Force News" successively published many art reviews for him.

In 1989, the "Hundred Tigers", which took three years to create, was donated to the National Asian Games Organizing Committee.

In 1991, he was awarded the title of National Outstanding Self-taught Talent, and his main achievements were selected into the "China Self-taught Talent Collection".

In 1992, "Five Blessings" participated in the Beijing Art Exhibition and was selected as an outstanding work in Beijing to participate in the National Art Exhibition.

In 1993, he participated in the "Top Ten" art exhibition held in Hong Kong.

In 1995, his work "The Style of a King" went to Hancheng to participate in an exhibition.

In 2002, "Eight Sides of Majesty" was selected for the 10th All-Army Art Exhibition to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, and was rated as an outstanding work in the National Art Exhibition. Honorary Award for Outstanding Works in Beijing, collected by China Artists Association.

In March 2004, the work "Mountain Ghost" participated in the Zhongmao Shengjia Spring Festival Art Auction and sold for 88,000 yuan.

In June 2004, the work "The King" participated in the China Trade Shengjia Spring Art Auction and was sold for 99,000 yuan.

In 2005, China Federation of Literary and Art Circles' "Literary News" and "Beijing Evening News" published works and multiple art reviews. The work "Girl in Blue" participated in China Trade Shengjia Spring Art Auction and was sold for 154,000 yuan.

In 2007, Tianjin Yangliuqing Fine Arts Publishing House published "Gongbi Flower Feather Painting Method". On December 21, 2007, the 49th issue of "Yizhi Calligraphy and Pictorial" published a selection of works by the famous painter Xie Chengxiang. On December 28, 2007, the "Xie Chengxiang Chinese Painting Exhibition", which took five years to be created, was successfully held in "Rongbaozhai". Rongbaozhai Fine Arts Publishing House published "Xie Chengxiang's Gongbi Painting Collection".

In 2008, Shandong People's Fine Arts Publishing House published "Gongbi Animal Painting Method". In January 2008, his works "Reliance", "The King Arrives in the World", "Jingqiu", "Shaojun Tu" and "Tiger" were selected for publication by Tianjin People's Fine Arts Publishing House. In January 2008, his works "Pine Fun", "Red Panda", "Little Cub" and "Deer and Cypress Eternal Spring" were selected by Tianjin People's Fine Arts Publishing House to publish a collection of finely crafted small animals by famous artists. In April 2008, the work "National Beauty and Heavenly Fragrance" was selected by Tianjin People's Fine Arts Publishing House to publish a collection of new meticulous peony works by famous artists.

In September 2009, many of his works such as "Pictures of God's Power in the Grass", "Lord in the Mountains", "Reliance", "Remote Thoughts", and "Listening" were selected for publication by Tianjin People's Fine Arts Publishing House. "Tiger Masters" is a collection of selected works by famous contemporary Chinese tiger painting artists.

In recent years, many works have won awards and been published at home and abroad, and have been unanimously praised by the art circle.
