Reflections after reading "Extraordinary Dad"

This week I read the book "Extraordinary Dad" written by Yang Hongying. The author - Yang Hongying is a super best-selling children's book author in China and has won many awards. This book tells a very interesting story between a group of children with different temperaments, but all very innocent and lovely, and their fathers.

This book contains different kinds of dads: playful dads, tough guy dads, problematic dads and enlightened dads.

The playful dad is Ma Xiaotiao’s father, Ma Tianxiao. He is naughty by nature and can’t even control his son. Mr. Ma Tianxiao has a bunch of hair that sticks up like a cockscomb on his head. He is a toy designer. The toys he designed before are not fun at all. But as soon as Ma Xiaotiao was born, Ma Tianxiao's fate changed. Ma Xiaotiao wanted to draw lots on his 100th day, but Ma Xiaotiao refused and jumped. The guests were frightened and shouted "Oh!" Ma Xiaotiao hated the sound and jumped again. Mr. Ma Tianxiao made a "jumping doll" based on Ma Xiaotiao's appearance. There is a button on the back of this little doll. When you press the doll, it will jump. This doll and Ma Xiaotiao are almost like twin brothers. Big head, bean eyes, round nose, mouth not closed, one corner of the mouth is slanted down, and the other corner of the mouth is turned up. This is an expression that makes you laugh or cry. Anyone who sees it will laugh.

The tough guy dad is Wu Mian’s father Wu Wei. He is very strong and strong. He spoke to Wu Mian like a man, and he respected Wu Mian very much. He is a photographer. He carries a camera and takes pictures all day long. Sometimes he brings local national costumes back to Wu Mian's mother.

The father in question is Meng Xiaoqiao’s father, Meng Jindou. His mind is very messy and he is in a hurry to do things. No matter what he drank, he always raised his head and drank it all in one gulp, often leaving a little bit on his lips. He loves money very much and is reluctant to give his daughter money for cram school.

The enlightened father is Ran Dongyang’s father. He is humorous, cheerful and tolerant. He wants his daughter to be a lively and happy person. He will not let his daughter attend cram school, and his daughter's grades are still "high" (way ahead). What a liberal dad.

After reading the book "Extraordinary Dad", I understand that dad is - he once lay on the ground and let us ride as horses, and asked us to stand up by ourselves when we fell. If we get a few points less on the exam, we will be better The guy who spanked us hard and jumped on us when we were in danger. However, that person is not the same. They may be naughty, humorous, strange, traveling across mountains and rivers, smiling... Next to children, they are actually just big boys. Each of us must be filial to each of our relatives.
