How to shoot reflection with SLR

The principle of reflective strip or reflective cloth is to coat glass micropowder or organic material on the substrate to play the role of corner reflector. In this way, under strong light, observers near the light source will feel obvious reflection effect.

The cube corner of a corner reflector is actually equivalent to three mutually perpendicular plane mirrors. When a beam of light is incident, it is reflected by two plane mirrors perpendicular to each other and then emitted in opposite directions. From this, it can be imagined that the light rays that hit the corner reflector in any direction in space can be reflected twice or at most three times, and finally will be emitted in the opposite direction to the original incident direction. This is the principle of corner reflector. Therefore, it can be concluded that the characteristic of corner reflector is that it can reflect the incident light back against the original direction no matter which direction the light shines on it.

When shooting reflective strips, pay attention to the following points:

1, shooting at night or in dim environment;

2. Have a suitable light source, bright and close to the photographer to stimulate the reflection effect;

3. For the lens with large aperture, increasing the light input can improve the shutter speed and avoid blurring;

4. For SLR cameras with high sensitivity and good performance, try to improve the ISO value, such as setting it to 6400;

5. The reflective strip can be bent or extended appropriately, and the properties of the reflective strip can be reflected by different reflective effects.

After repeated experiments, you can master the skills of shooting reflective strips.
