History of Datong No.1 Middle School

The predecessor of Datong No.1 Middle School has always been closely related to education. Xijing imperial academy has been a university legacy for nearly a thousand years since it was founded here on 1059. Since 1905, Datong Fu Middle School has a history of nearly a hundred years. This school has been renamed several times. 19 13 years, the fourth normal school of Shanxi province was founded; 19 17 was renamed the third normal school of Shanxi province; 1934 was renamed Datong Normal School in Shanxi Province; 1972, the school was renamed Datong No.1 Middle School. 198 1 The school was identified as the first batch of key middle schools in Shanxi Province with its impressive achievements. In the last 10 year of the 20th century, Datong No.1 Middle School seized the opportunity, deepened the reform, followed the law and strictly managed the education, which accelerated the development of the school, raised the school-running level to a big level and made Datong No.1 Middle School a famous school in Shanxi. On September 20 10, the school officially moved to the new campus of Li Xiangyang, adding a new north campus and a new south campus of junior high school, which are adjacent to the Long Yuan campus of 14 primary school and the new campus of Datong No.45 primary school respectively.
