Illustration of socket wiring method

The socket wiring method is illustrated below:

Material preparation: socket, screwdriver.

1. The one-way socket has at least two terminals L (live wire) and N (neutral wire), and the three-hole socket also has an earth terminal E (ground wire).

2. When wiring, connect the live wire to L, the neutral wire to N, and the ground wire to E. The wiring diagram is as follows.

3. Simple two-hole sockets generally have no markings and can be connected at will. The same applies to the plug strip. If the plug strip has the L/N mark, the neutral and live wires need to be separated. The wiring is as shown in the figure below.

Socket wiring installation specifications:

1. The bottom edge of the door switch box is 1.2m to 1.4m away from the ground, and the side edge must be greater than 70mm from the door cover line. Switches in special positions must be Install according to specific requirements. Safety sockets must be used when the bottom edge of the socket is less than 1.8m.

2. The environment in some places at home will be relatively humid. At this time, sealed protective sockets should be used for socket wiring. The installation height of the sockets should be greater than or equal to 1.5m. In children's rooms, safety sockets should be used. All sockets without a fixed load body are calculated as 1000 watts. The allowable deviation of panel verticality is less than or equal to 1mm.

3. As long as it is a socket, it must face the direction of the panel to connect the neutral wire, the right side to the phase wire, and the three holes to the upper ground wire. And no exposed copper wires exceeding 1mm are allowed in the box.
