Her insect paintings are very eye-catching and often unforgettable at first glance. Someone asked her that photography is so developed now, and digital cameras only appeared in recent years. Her answer is that only by observing calmly like her, infiltrating feelings in meticulous hand painting and gradually rising from the depths of the soul can we show the magic of insects.

She said that nature endowed insects with the mission of embodying the beauty of color and symmetry, especially the strictness of symmetry. While people are amazed, they should have awe of the harmonious ethical realm. So, is the insect she painted a scientific material or a work of art? Anyway, she doesn't live by it. Ugliness is not a natural ugly shape of some insects, but a morbid shape: broken wings, twisted tentacles, faded spots, blind eyes, long tumors, blisters and scabies ... Kangya is not a freak with scab. At first, she accidentally came into contact with strange pests and diseases, and out of pity, she drew the sick body.

Later, during her trip, she found that where the environmental protection work is not good, the number of insects will decrease, and the more living insects will get sick because of pollution. It made her feel as if the devil's claws were scratching. She decided to draw ugly bugs with her meager strength to fight the evil of environmental pollution.

She went to many places in the world at her own expense, including Chernobyl in 1986, because of the nuclear leakage. When she got there, she didn't see any insects. First, she saw leaves deformed by nuclear radiation. She didn't draw plants. At that time, she couldn't help drawing sick leaves with tears. Later, she had a great effort to find some remaining insects, almost all of which were deformed and ugly. She took insect specimens collected from all over the world back to her home in Zurich and described them sympathetically. It is shocking that she compares the healthy and beautiful insects of the same kind with the sick and ugly insects. She said that it is estimated that the number of insect species extinct due to environmental pollution is a large number, and it is obvious that sick and extremely ugly insects are passing on their diseases and ugliness to the next generation. The harm of insects also reflects the sinister situation of human beings in their own environmental pollution.

At present, although there is still controversy about the evaluation of Corniya's insect paintings, some people of insight have stopped sticking to the concept and given affirmation and recommendation regardless of whether her paintings are scientific materials or works of art. Therefore, many of her insect paintings have been accepted by some advanced exhibitions in the west, both in science and technology museums and art galleries. Many people think that her insect paintings are works of art with profound implications and a warning to the public.

Cornya doesn't care what people think of her labor. She only hopes that more people can hear a heartfelt call from her insect paintings, that is, human beings, be kind to nature, respect harmony and save themselves!
