Zheng 'an No.1 Middle School was founded in 1938. The original school is located in the Confucian Temple in the south of the city. Formerly known as Zheng 'an County Junior High School. 1945 The school moved to Dongyue Temple in Dongjie, 1957 was renamed as Zheng 'an No.1 Junior High School, 1958 was developed from county junior high school to Wanzhong. Officially named Zheng 'an No.1 Middle School, it has been used ever since.
