Photography angle and skill
In all photographic occasions and various genres of photographic art, a series of composition tasks can be solved by choosing a shooting angle. The point of view of human eyes observing various things outside is called observation angle. Then, the viewpoint of the camera shooting scenes and people is called the shooting angle. The following is my collection of shooting angles and skills, I hope it will help you!
horizontal angle
1, front angle
It is beneficial to show the positive characteristics of the subject, and shooting a close-up of a person from a positive angle is called portrait. A positive angle can show the original appearance of a character. The right angle is conducive to expressing the horizontal lines of the scenery and creating a solemn, stable and serious atmosphere. Its disadvantage is the lack of three-dimensional sense and spatial perspective. If used improperly, it is easy to form a dull and lifeless picture effect.
2. Side angle
It is beneficial to show the directionality of moving objects, and there are many kinds of lines, which are mostly used in dialogues, exchanges, talks and interviews, and have the same significance. Its disadvantage is that it is not conducive to the expression of three-dimensional sense and space sense.
Step 3 bevel angle
Oblique angle, including front and back, is the most commonly used angle. You can prioritize when shooting two people. For example, an interview camera takes the reporter's back as the foreground, shoots the interviewee's front, and makes it in the middle of the picture, visually focusing on the interviewee, with a prominent subject and a sense of depth, and the picture changes. The lens shot at this angle is called over-the-shoulder shooting.
4. Back perspective
Shooting people from behind, the space and scenery seen by the photographed people are also seen by the audience, so the picture taken from this angle has the documentary effect of bringing the audience to the scene and has an immersive sense of participation.
Vertical angle:
There are three vertical angles: Ping She, overhead and overhead.
The modeling features and functions of 1 and panning angle (Ping She).
Ping She angle means that the height of the machine is the same as that of the main body. For people, the height of the camera is located on the shoulder, which is called Ping She angle, or simply flat angle. Boxer has the following modeling features:
① Because the plane is at the height of human eyes, the picture has the effect of head-up smoothness, which is a documentary angle.
② Vertical objects can be reproduced normally, and horizontal lines are easy to overlap.
(3) the perspective relationship is normal, without deformation (with a medium focal length lens)
④ Suitable for taking patterns and photos.
⑤ In Ping She, the front and back scenes are easy to overlap, and the relationship between the front and back scenes and the background can't be seen, which is not conducive to the expression of spatial level and spatial depth. Boxer is suitable for taking close-ups of people without deformation. If you pursue a stable composition, you don't want a big perspective relationship, and the flat angle shooting is the most suitable.
Modeling effect and function of prone angle (prone)
(1) is beneficial to express the three-dimensional sense of objects. The key to express the three-dimensional sense of an object is to express its multi-faceted relationship. Plane shooting can show two sides of the front of the object, and depression angle shooting can show three sides of the front, side and top, thus enhancing the three-dimensional sense of the object.
(2) The depression angle can enhance the line perspective of plane scenery. Scenes whose inclination angle is close to the lens descend to the bottom, while distant scenes ascend, thus showing the field of vision and increasing the spatial depth. Such as parades, Mercedes-Benz motorcades, sheep on the grassland and scenes with vertical and horizontal lines, are mostly shot at a low angle to show the ground scenery of multiple scenes. As the saying goes, "stand high and see far" is the truth.
(3) Depression angle can render emotions. Create a depressing atmosphere. According to the specified scene and the mood of the characters, the depression angle processing can enlarge the ground, make the characters smaller, and also make the characters compress and deform, resulting in a narrowing and low visual effect and a sense of emotional depression.
(4) The prone angle can be used to shoot people, beautify their facial features and uglify their images. If the standard lens is slightly tilted, the round face, high cheekbones and fat face can be properly lengthened and corrected. This angle is often used to slightly change the face shape of a character in portrait photography.
(5) prone angle is often used to explain geographical position. When shooting a battle scene, the first shot is often to shoot a distant picture with a large depression angle, which is used to determine the geographical position of the enemy and the enemy and the direction of movement of both sides.
Modeling effect and function of elevation angle (elevation angle)
When the height of the camera is lower than the position of the human eye or the object to be photographed, shooting is called upward shooting, and the lens that shoots upward is called downward looking lens. (1) The prospect is higher and the prospect is lower. Sometimes the foreground is blocked by the foreground and the foreground is invisible. If the foreground is the subject,
Elevation has the function of displaying the main image. Exterior elevation shooting with the sky as the background can purify the background and achieve the purpose of highlighting the main body;
(2) Looking up at the scenery with vertical lines, the lines converge upward, exaggerating the height of the subject, thus producing a tall, majestic and spectacular visual effect;
(3) Because upward photography can form a tall and majestic visual effect, upward photography often carries praise and admiration for heroes; However, the derogatory emotional color of leaning over and leaning over is not absolute, and another fixed model cannot be used. The fixed pattern of "the enemy is leaning on me" circulated in the film industry during the period is completely wrong.
(4) Shooting people from behind can not only exaggerate their figure and facial features, but also correct facial defects. For example, short people can look taller, and people with thin faces can look fatter; For the face with wide cheeks, if elevation angle is adopted, the cheeks will be wider, thus exaggerating the facial defects, so elevation angle is not suitable for the body with wide cheeks.
(5) Shooting the jumping flight action with elevation angle can exaggerate the jumping height.
(6) When shooting at elevation, the optical axis of the camera and the horizontal line form an upward inclined angle, and the lens reaches the head (or the top of other objects) and feet of people.
