What routes can be arranged around the Forbidden City in Beijing?

There are so many places to play around the Forbidden City.

Two routes are recommended:

1. Jingshan Park-Forbidden City Corner Building-Beihai Park

2. National Museum-Eastern Suburb of Xiangmin-Qianmen Beijing Plaza

I will focus on how to play in each place.

Jingshan Park

From the Shenwumen in the north gate of the Forbidden City, you can go directly to Jingshan Park across the street, climb to the highest place and see far away. You can look at the Forbidden City from another angle. When the weather is good, you can also see the CBD area where China Zun is located. Of course, you can also come in the afternoon and watch the sunset, which is also excellent.

Turret of The Palace Museum

The top famous punching point, where the old mage was stationed, showed the extreme exquisiteness and complexity of the royal architecture.

National Museum

As the originator of the National Museum, Guo Bo's high specifications and outstanding architecture are self-evident. As an exhibition of Guo Bo Town Hall, the ancient China exhibition covers 5,000 years of civilization in China and brings together the essence of cultural relics from various provinces.

From the ancient times of Homo sapiens and Homo sapiens, it went through Xia, Shang and Zhou Dynasties, Spring and Autumn and Warring States, Qin and Han Dynasties, Three Kingdoms, Southern Jin Dynasty, Sui and Tang Dynasties, Liao, Song, Xia, Jin and Yuan Dynasties, and finally to Ming and Qing Dynasties.

In just eight parts, the development of politics, economy, culture, social life, Chinese-foreign exchanges and other aspects in ancient China in different historical periods was comprehensively demonstrated.

They are not only the witness of history, but also highlight the brilliant achievements made by the Chinese nation and its great contribution to human civilization.

Dongjiaomin lane

The longest hutong in Beijing is closely related to the modern history of China, with exquisite architecture and heavy history.

Near the front door

Qianmen Street and Beijing Square are all eating, drinking and having fun, blending ancient and modern, and enjoying themselves.

Besides these, there are other scenic spots around the Forbidden City, such as Tiananmen Square, Zhongshan Park and the Working People's Cultural Palace. If you like ethnic minorities, you can choose from West Polishing Factory, Xijiaominxiang, Sanlihe Park and Nanchizi Art Museum.

As for the part of the route, you can freely match it according to your physical strength, time and preference.
