2065438+May1-On May 3, 2009, with expectation and a little confusion, I walked into the five-dimensional classroom. After three days of experience, I gradually understand what awareness is. What is faith? So, here, I want to talk about my views and beliefs.
In fact, the word consciousness is a high-frequency word in my major, but I often mix it with reflection. Until I met Mr. Chen Xu, he told us that awareness is to see the truth and the objective world, while reflection is aimed at problems. Similar to reflection, there are judgments and evaluations, and reflection is our subjective value. I have a new understanding of perception, and I realize the meaning behind it.
So, now I invite you to take a journey of awareness, a journey of faith and a journey of knowing yourself.
What I share includes: What is awareness? What is faith? Find a better self.
What is awareness?
The so-called awareness is to observe and see the truth without judgment. Consciousness is the function of self-awareness, including self-awareness, interpersonal awareness and environmental awareness. What I mainly share today is self-awareness.
So, we can think about it, must the world we see be real? Do we really know ourselves?
In fact, we often talk about consciousness, but we often don't really master it, so we often forget it and fall into a state of unconsciousness or automation. In order to regain the ability of self-awareness, we need to understand the meaning behind consciousness.
I believe that friends who have studied coaching leadership, psychology and social work should know that there is a theory called iceberg in Satya's family therapy. It means that the human ego is like a huge iceberg floating on the water, and only a small part of the behaviors or coping styles that can be seen by the outside world are exposed on the water, only about one-eighth are exposed and seven-eighths are hidden under the water. The bigger mountain submerged under the water surface is the "inner" that we have suppressed for a long time and ignored. Uncover the secrets of the iceberg, and we will see our desires, expectations, opinions and feelings in life and our true selves.
Satya's iceberg metaphor theory mainly includes seven levels, from top to bottom are behavior, coping style, feelings, opinions, expectations, aspirations and self.
1, behavior-refers to, action, story content.
2. Coping style-that is, our posture (including flattery, accusation, irrationality, interruption, and appearance consistency).
3. Feeling (joy, excitement, fascination, anger, injury, fear, sadness, sadness, etc. )
4. Viewpoint-our beliefs, assumptions, preset positions, subjective reality, thinking, concepts, values and cognition.
5. Expectations-including expectations of oneself, expectations of others and expectations from others.
6. Desire-that is, love, acceptance, belonging, creation, connection, freedom, etc. All mankind share: being loved, recognized, accepted, purposeful, meaningful and free.
7. Self: Who am I? -Spirituality, soul, life energy, essence, core and existence (vitality, spirit, spirituality, core and essence).
Therefore, many times we only see a small part of the iceberg, as well as feelings, beliefs, intentions, desires and so on. All the icebergs are hidden under the water, which leads to self-repression and leads us to lose sight of the truth.
So what is stopping us from seeing the truth?
Here, I want to make a simple explanation with my own example.
Some time ago, I experienced the experience of being supervised. I was supervised by two classmates. In our mind, the supervisor is actually a very professional and dedicated person. At first, my communication with my supervisor was smooth. However, in the end, the instructor asked us to write a paragraph. As the feedback of this supervision work, I quickly wrote down my experience and sent it to my supervisor, expecting his praise. But the next few conversations suddenly frustrated my feelings. The dialogue goes like this:
The supervisor said: Liu Qin's response is a little behind now.
I said, did I get it wrong?
The supervisor said, but that's what you need now
I said, I don't know what you said. I want it now.
The tutor didn't reply to me, but to other students' questions.
So I went on to say: Do you need to live in the present, or do you need to know more about life?
The director hasn't answered my question yet.
Finally, the supervisor said, Liu Qin, I will receive the records of the indirect supervisor at the same time when I receive Zhou Zhi, the supervisor's internship next week. I will review my homework tonight and send it to everyone. The form has been modified. Please submit it according to my revised form in the future.
Then we ended this supervision consultation.
After the supervision, I was a little depressed to think that the supervision didn't reply to me after I questioned it. I wonder why the supervisor didn't see me when I was so active. Because I didn't see the reply I wanted, I thought about it all night. What did I do wrong?
If this had happened before, I would have made two judgments and comments on this matter. In the first case, I will feel really bad and misunderstand the supervisor, so I will provoke the supervisor to reply to me tirelessly. Secondly, I feel that the supervisor is giving me an evaluation, and I think it is wrong for her to do so. Then I want to ask my friends, which of these two judgments do you think is correct?
But now, because I learned to perceive, I began to know that judgment is not a fact, and evaluation is not a fact. Being aware means not making any evaluation or judgment.
Back to the supervised experience, I was depressed because I started my own judgment and emotions, and my subconscious took my judgment as a fact. Therefore, once the incident happens, I will judge first and start the emotional switch at the same time, so that I can't see my own truth and the truth of the other party.
It can be seen that it is really not easy for me to see the truth.
So, what prevented me from seeing the truth?
In my opinion, judgment, evaluation, emotions and beliefs may hinder us from seeing the truth clearly.
Now, I have found a way to find out the truth, that is, five dimensions tell my coach's belief:
1, people are ok-so we accept (believe).
2. There is a positive intention behind human behavior-motivation (exploration).
3. People have resources to focus on (support)
4. People will make the best choice for themselves-creation (respect).
5, change is inevitable-commitment (action)
Based on the above beliefs, five dimensions provide us with tools for self-cognition:
Still my supervisory experience:
Conflict incident: I feel evaluated by my supervisor's series of responses, and I feel a little frustrated and depressed. Expectation: I hope I can understand the supervisor's words well and get his approval. At the same time, I hope to communicate with the supervisor more and have a collision of ideas.
Why? Because deep down in our hearts, I am eager to communicate, which can enhance understanding.
In this incident, my excellent qualities are: earnest, diligent, careful, studious and active.
Therefore, through previous awareness, I made my own decision: adjust my beliefs, know myself and accept my emotions. ? Next time, in the process of supervision, I will better understand the words of supervision, and my goals and scope will be more reasonable when setting supervision expectations.
Through the tool of awareness, my heart seems to be calm and no longer bitter. At this moment, I really understand, five dimensions? That sentence in class: I am the source of all problems. Looking back at myself, I really realize that self-depression is due to improper judgment of myself, and the first is the interpersonal handling of emotions.
The five dimensions tell me that self-cognition depends on inner emotions, and behavior changes depend on self-cognition. Behavior comes from our thinking, and thinking is influenced by emotions, which is actually an automatic response of faith.
Because of some experiences when I was young, I subconsciously formed a set of standards for self-judgment and judging others. I feel redundant, unloved and dispensable, so I often feel that in the eyes of others, I am redundant, unimportant and unlovable. Under this criterion, I have formed two extreme beliefs. One is that since you are not loved, don't expect too much, just give up. The resulting behavior is to consciously give up opportunities, including promotion and salary increase, including fighting for my due interests. Facing the challenge, I choose to surrender first. The other is that I need special attention and recognition, so I am cautious in my work, hoping to be perfect and afraid of making a little mistake, so I have formed the belief of avoiding and escaping. Therefore, when speaking in public, facing leaders and dealing with urgent tasks, my reason is absolutely out of line. I judge myself first and activate my emotions at the same time, so I will be so nervous that I can't hear others' speeches and even vomit, so this group of extreme beliefs consumes a lot of my energy. Even in interpersonal relationships, I always feel bound, and I always feel that my inner flow is not smooth.
So I have been looking for a panacea that can quickly cure my obstructive feeling. Until now, no panacea has been found. But in the five dimensions, I began to learn to see my true self and my beliefs with perception.
Teacher Chen Xu said, what is faith? Faith is what you believe and what you think is true. The biggest difference between human beings and animals is that when confronted with stimulation, people will have various ideas to choose from. I can choose this or that. Through awareness, when we see those negative thoughts, we actively promote a kind of mindfulness (the so-called mindfulness is to see the current self-state without judgment).
In that supervised experience, in fact, whether the supervisor said or not, I might instinctively judge and start my emotions, because this is a long-term habit and belief.
Now, I see these judgments, emotions, expectations, facts and my excellent qualities through the way of perception, so I will actively promote a kind of mindfulness to believe in myself, embrace myself, empathize with myself and accept myself. By creating mindfulness, I gradually improved my ability to cope with challenges and solve problems.
Teacher Chen Xu said that the farthest distance in the world is the distance from head to toe, that is, the distance from knowing to doing. Based on new beliefs, I want to create new actions. Therefore, in view of this supervised experience, I created a new action decision:
Carefully understand the supervisor's intentions and use the awareness diary tool when emotions appear.
I talked about two key words in today's sharing, one is awareness and the other is faith. In order to make these two keywords vivid, I used my experience of being supervised all the time. Through this case, I will show you the changes before and after I use awareness. When analyzing the case, I used iceberg theory in psychology, subconscious concept, and belief and cognitive diary tools in five-dimensional coaches. To sum up:
Perception is a mirror, and you can see your true self.
Faith is what I think is true and what we believe. We can choose and create by ourselves.
A good coach should inspire customers to think.
A good manager should stimulate the thinking of the managed.
A good teacher should stimulate students' thinking
A good parent should inspire children to think.
Therefore, I think a good helper should stimulate the thinking of all our service users.
Everyone can be a coach to make themselves and others live better.
I feel very lucky to come to five dimensions. As I shared with several five-dimensional friends, it was my first time to take a course outside the industry and went straight to the five-dimensional field without taking any detours. I have met many excellent people in this field. They are all elites in the workplace, but they are still learning, growing and changing. Dai Dai is the teaching assistant in our fourth group. She is a post-90 s, versatile, proficient in playing, playing and singing, and her hosting style can explode the audience. The key is still very responsible. Every day after class, she asks me questions. Have you set the sharing time for the micro-lesson? Have you decided on a theme? Thank you very much for Dai Dai's contribution. Chunchun, although a post-90s generation, is an expert in cutting people, taking photos, hosting and planning. She is really a heavyweight in our group. Brother Yong from the mountain city of Chongqing has his own energy. Because of the power of faith, he changed careers and won the championship. In addition, he is a caring, careful and warm person; Sister Kobayashi has a sweet voice, which gives me a super kind feeling. Just started to enter the five-dimensional field. It was a few greetings from Xiaolin's sister, which made me put down my shackles and put myself into it quickly. Teacher Wen Tao, changing every day, brings the essence of five dimensions to life; Teacher Lian Tian, if she is a highly effective person, it is unambiguous. On May 3rd, the course ended, and on May 4th, Teacher Lian Tian finished the micro-lesson sharing and all the homework after class, praising her efficiency.
