I am a foodie in Wangjing!

Wangjing is a relatively independent and self-contained comprehensive new urban area in the northeastern part of Beijing's central city. It belongs to Chaoyang District and covers an area of ??16 square kilometers. A large number of Japanese and Koreans gather here. In particular, since 2010, it has been planned as Beijing's second CBD. In recent years, the commercial center in the area has developed rapidly. There are large and small high-end shopping malls, and the following large-scale business districts have initially formed: Kaidemao, where young people love to play; Hesheng Qilin New World where literary and artistic trendsetters gather; your home, my home, everyone’s home - IKEA shopping district; New World Wangjing Liying Department Store where you can’t get enough of eating, drinking, playing and having fun; Leisure Plaza - Wangjing Xinyi Wangjing Huacai Commercial Center, which has a huge flow of people and can’t be visited in a day; Wangjing Commercial Center, which is fun, delicious and interesting; and Auchan Business District on the North Fifth Ring Road, which is also a favorite leisure and entertainment center for Wangjing people.

Wangjing is dotted with specialty restaurants. Even if you only take one bite of each, your stomach will burst. For me, it's a challenge every time I walk past these restaurants: Eat? Don't want to eat? This is really a big problem. It disrupted my weight loss plan countless times, causing my weight to skyrocket like a wild horse that let go of its reins and was out of control!

Here are: the famous Wangjing Xiaoyao, the famous halal restaurant Jubaoyuan, which is loved by national husband Wang Sicong, and Haidilao. You can enjoy not only the food, but also his service...

As we all know, Wangjingli's "sticks" are all over the streets and are being eaten by people. Wangjing, known as Koreatown, also has many Korean delicacies: Korean fried chicken restaurants are popping up everywhere, and Korean fried chicken is more suitable for you in winter; the tripe and beef intestines in the Oubar altar closest to my home are so good. You still want to eat when you’re full; there’s always a queue at the Xiangzhu Fang; the stove-fired barbecue with complimentary side dishes; the military hotpot in the Hooligan Village; the ginseng chicken soup by Master Zhang; Meat; the pork bone and potato soup in Wangjing Xiyuan District 4 is worth traveling half of Beijing to eat Korean food; there are two cats in the store, one is named Marilyn Monroe, and the other is named Yang Guo's Pig Knuckle The hot pot uses honest ingredients, and there is still pork knuckle left in the all-you-can-eat pot... In addition to Korean cuisine, Wangjing also has one of the few Korean restaurants in the capital - Haitanghua and Yuliu Palace, which produce authentic Korean food. The waiters and waitresses are real Korean girls. They are all slim and good at singing and dancing. The only drawback is that they don't speak Chinese very well, so you have to be patient when communicating.

There are also delicacies from all over the world: Thai restaurant------Chili chocolate mousse from Joy Thai; lime steamed fish at Xingyi Club in Singapore; Argentinian Manor specializes in barbecue meals, and stores The underground wine cellar with 40,000 bottles of wine is famous in the capital; Black Pine White Deer inherits the traditional elements of Japanese cuisine; the cream of mushroom soup in Annie’s Italian Restaurant is thick and fragrant, and Annie’s pizza is thin and crispy...

Speaking of, I have a deep connection with Korean food because: a long, long time ago, my grandfather went from his hometown in Shandong to seek a living in Guandong, which is now the Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture. In the mid-1960s, when my mother moved from Yanbian to the mainland to change her household registration, the policeman at the police station, "Shu Miao", took the initiative to discuss with my mother a Korean ethnic group. My mother said righteously: "I don't want to be Korean!" She didn't. Thinking about how much glory that fake "Korean" can bring to us and our descendants, our three sisters still complain to this day, "How about my baby ranks three or four thousand ahead in the city's college entrance examination and is guaranteed to be admitted to Beijing's 985 colleges.", “Why don’t my family go to the High School Affiliated to Normal University and we don’t have to get up early to go to Xingfuliu Middle School like we do now!”… Since I was a child, my mother always made delicious spicy cabbage, soybean soup, cakes and other Korean foods for us. When I was in high school, I brought lunch for lunch, and the whole class was fascinated by the spicy cabbage pickled by my mother. My classmates took advantage of me and went to my house to ask for the spicy cabbage recipe. Now that I live in a circle surrounded by Korean restaurants, I will miss the deliciousness of doenjang soup if I don’t eat it for a while. It is convenient to buy Korean food ingredients and pots in Wangjing. Because I like the exquisiteness and diversity of Korean food, I am especially fond of bibimbap and miso soup. My stone pots and woks are all from Koreatown. I often buy Korean bean paste, hot sauce, roasted seaweed... and make Korean food by myself.

Because of losing weight, I don’t eat dinner. When my husband returns to Beijing, the family no longer cooks, and they will take him to "Funiutang" [Wangjing store] run by a master's degree from Peking University to eat Hunan rice noodles, or to eat Guangxi snail noodles at Fang Heng International's "Limited Level". I took him to eat noodles at the "Wangjing No. 1 Beef Ramen" next door to Wangjing No. 10 Courtyard. When he took the first bite, he said to me in surprise: "This ramen tastes extraordinary." I replied: "That's right. This restaurant is special. It’s on Beijing TV’s food map, and the restaurants I take you to eat are all famous! “Look at me, in order to lose weight, he eats hard while I watch.

I have written a lot about it, but it is actually just the tip of the iceberg. Now three subway lines run through Wangjing, making it convenient for you to come to Wangjing and visit the tall Wangjing SOHO and popular major business districts. Wangjing’s special food, draw your own Wangjing food map, and you are also welcome to taste the Chinese and Korean dishes I cook, so that you can experience the cooking skills of this "Chaoyang Mass".
