What does the S file of SLR mean?

SLR S file refers to a shooting mode of SLR camera. Refers to a mode in which the program automatically adjusts the aperture and shutter without adjusting the sensitivity. In this mode, the camera will automatically adjust the aperture and shutter according to the brightness of the subject to obtain the best exposure effect. Of course, due to the automatic control of the program, the photographer's personal style and technical level will also be affected in terms of photo composition, exposure and color.

Compared with other shooting modes, SLR S files are widely used in actual combat, especially in still life and landscape shooting. The advantage of this shooting mode is that it can reduce the shooting error of hand-held camera to a certain extent, and make the texture of the photo clearer and more real, and the color more full. For those who just started to learn photography, this is also one of the most convenient shooting modes to practice.

Although SLR S file has advantages in many aspects, it also has shortcomings. Due to the automatic control of the program, this mode may lead to problems such as insufficient picture details, insufficient photo composition or insufficient light. Therefore, in actual shooting, the photographer needs to adjust the parameters such as aperture, shutter and sensitivity according to the situation in order to obtain better shooting effect. Especially when the light is dark or the shutter is slow, the advantage of manually adjusting the parameters will be more obvious.
