Automatic program exposure key
General household cameras are usually equipped with automatic exposure function, that is, the brightness of the picture will be adjusted appropriately when shooting, but it is a fixed mode. Therefore, in order to shoot professional pictures in various occasions and different situations, camera manufacturers have designed some intelligent exposure modes to deal with them. As long as the user switches to the function of shooting the same situation at that time, the camera itself will automatically adjust the shutter speed and aperture according to the best shooting mode designed in this situation, and the photographer only needs to aim at the target to shoot. Common automatic program exposures include sports mode, portrait mode, night scene mode and spotlight mode. And all factories have the above model. In fact, this intelligent exposure mode has been used in advanced cameras for a long time, and its working principle is similar.
Action stereotype
This is an exposure mode for shooting motion, which is characterized by high-speed shutter and aperture brightness. When switching to this function, the camera will automatically adjust the shutter speed to more than 1/500 seconds (usually 1/60 seconds), so as to clearly shoot fast body movements or high-speed moving objects. Generally, it can be used to assist the analysis and correction of athletes' movements. Of course, the most important thing is to shoot wonderful sports games or performances. Also, when you are in a high-speed car and want to shoot the scenery outside, you can use this mode in addition to fixing the focus in the distance to ensure that the picture can remain clear when moving quickly.
Because this mode is based on high-speed shutter, it needs a lot of brightness. So if you use it in bad weather or bad light, the brightness of the picture may be insufficient. Therefore, when using this function, we should pay special attention to whether the light on the spot is appropriate.
portrait mode
We often see some photos or movies about portraits, in which the characters stand out because of the blurred background, but when we want to shoot similar effects, the camera can't fully cooperate, so we can only stand far away and look at the distance with a large multiple of ZOOMIN to present the effect of blurred background, but it is easy to cause picture jitter. So this function is to use the enlarged aperture to make the depth of field shallow, so that you can get the effect of blurred background without a large telescope. In sunny outdoor environment, if you simply enlarge the aperture, it will easily lead to overexposure, so this mode will automatically match the shutter speed, so that it will not be overexposed under large aperture. When shooting with this function, it is best to keep a distance between the person and the background, and the color depth of the background is inversely proportional to the color of the person to highlight the person.
When using this mode to shoot people, try to shoot the picture size above the chest of the person, so as to show the effect of portrait mode. If you pat the whole body with it, the effect will be greatly reduced.
Spotlight mode
This function mainly corresponds to the subject who is shooting a stage performance or being illuminated by the spotlight on special occasions. Because ordinary stage performances, fashion shows, press conferences and other venues often use spotlights to illuminate people on the stage to highlight performers or speakers and let everyone focus on them. However, the contrast between light and dark in the scene is too large, that is, the place where the spotlight shines is very bright, and the other places where it is not illuminated are too dark, so the automatic exposure function cannot respond correctly, which may lead to overexposure of the subject irradiated by the spotlight and loss of all details of the picture. Therefore, this mode is to reduce the normal standard value of automatic exposure by an aperture value to balance the excessive contrast between light and dark and avoid overexposure of the subject. So when you are shooting a stage performance with a spotlight, as long as you concentrate on keeping close to the shooting target, you don't have to worry about exposure all the time.
This mode is suitable for shooting the whole body scene or the maximum bust scene of the person under the spotlight. Don't shoot the picture size above the chest, because when people fill the picture, the contrast between light and dark will decrease. If you use this function at this time, it may cause underexposure. Also, the focus of the lens is set in the middle to infinity, so it will also make it difficult to focus.
