What's the difference between a general airport and a civil airport?

First, the use is different.

1. The uses of general aviation include: pilot training, aerial inspection, forest protection, pesticide spraying and other operational flights, as well as people's livelihood functions such as emergency rescue, commercial charter flights, aerial photography, scenic sightseeing and aerial performances. Helicopters used to rescue critically ill patients at home are also included. ?

General aviation is one of the two wings of civil aviation and plays an irreplaceable role in national economic and social construction.

2. Civil airports:

(l) Industrial aviation: including the use of aircraft for various activities related to industry and mining, and specific applications such as aerial photography, aerial remote sensing, aerial geophysical exploration, aerial hoisting, petroleum aviation and aviation environmental monitoring.

(2) Agricultural aviation: including aviation service activities of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery. Among them, such as forest fire prevention, fire extinguishing, pesticide spraying, etc., are incomparable by other means.

(3) Aviation scientific research and exploration activities: including verification of new technologies, flight test of new aircraft and meteorological astronomical observation and exploration activities carried out by aircraft.

Second, parking a plane is different.

Most of the aircraft performing general aviation tasks are small aircraft, light aircraft and helicopters.

Civil airports are designated areas for large aircraft to take off, land, taxi, park and conduct other activities.

Matters needing attention in general airports and civil airports:

General aviation airport is specialized in undertaking other flight tasks except personal flight, passenger transportation and cargo transportation, such as business travel, aviation tourism, air show, aerial photography, aerial mapping, agriculture and forestry spraying and other special flight tasks. A county in China has a population of one million, which is equivalent to the population of a foreign province. China will build a navigable airport connecting 2,800 countries.

According to "People's Republic of China (PRC) Civil Aviation Law" and other relevant laws and regulations of the state, civil airports shall implement the civil airport licensing system. A civil airport can only be opened for use if it has obtained a license.
