Photographic structural skills of solidification moment

Lead: the composition creates a three-dimensional sense to make you immersive, and the time-filled light takes you back to the moment when you press the shutter. Take a photo of your girlfriend with a sense of scene and time before the end of summer, so that you can relive the beautiful atmosphere at that time every time you look at it.

Go back to that moment and take the photos with the strongest sense of time.

Light can not only be used for modeling, but also be used to skillfully reproduce the sense of time of photos as long as you pay close attention to the different color temperatures and characteristics of light.

Autumn is filmed at dusk.

The most changeable moments of sunshine are early morning and dusk, when the light is soft and humid. Before 9 am and after 3 pm, the color temperature is comfortable. The dusk in autumn and winter is warmer and thicker than the dusk in summer, and it is also a good season to choose key shooting.

In terms of timeliness, in the early morning before the sun appears or after the sun sets, the scenery you see is particularly blue, just like being covered with a filter. When the sun rises, the color temperature of the light returns to white, so the color of the object is restored, red is red and green is green. So if you want to make the picture more timely, it is best to shoot it in the morning and at dusk.

Tip: Restoring the truest characters and scenes is sometimes better than? Perfect? Composition and exposure are more important!

Q: Do I have to fill the light when I take a portrait against the light? A friend once asked me to have a look at his works. Roughly speaking, a girl is standing under a backlit roof in a dimly lit environment, but she appears from her upper body to her face? Radiant? Strange scene, and the light came from below, and later I learned that the light source came from the reflector. When talking about why we should hit the reflector, he said: Everyone is black! Everyone says it's like this. ? If you think the contrast between positive and negative light is too strong, you may wish to change the angle slightly and try to restore the real effect with natural light.

Formal background is more attractive.

When a variety of smaller objects repeatedly become larger objects, visual tension will naturally form strength; And there are bound to be more shapes to fill the picture, such as repeated squares, repeated circles, repeated polygons and so on. In this way, the picture will not be loose and empty, and it also has a cohesive effect, making the sense of space more three-dimensional. Of course, there are also uniform groups, groups of different sizes, and groups that are positive and oblique, so the groups we are looking for should try to choose rhythmic combinations, such as lively jumping, ups and downs, staggered back and forth, and different lengths like musical rhythm. If every small unit is like a twin copy, it will be slightly dull.

After five o'clock in the afternoon, the oblique sunlight shines on the bride, the protagonist of the picture, and the white gauze blooms in the reflected light, showing its lightness and texture. If the shooting is near noon and the light comes from above, the ground that is not the focus will be exposed and the bride will show the dark side.

Backlighting means throwing away the reflector.

Because the light in the morning and evening is the most characteristic, you can shoot more at this time. Then you will definitely encounter the problem of how to control it. Backlight? Light problem. In order to truly reproduce the scene environment, the light must be reasonable: the color temperature of the light should be reasonable and the light source should be reasonable. Unless there is a special creative purpose, such as the need for clear characters when backlighting, you can shoot from a different angle or a different position. If you want to shoot from the perspective of backlight, then I want to express the feeling of backlight. Why not let the captured image feel the same as what the eyes see? Might as well keep some scenes and atmosphere under the backlight!

At this time, it is easy to have the problems of underexposure of the face and too bright background. You can take a slightly lower position or side backlight.

Positive backlight has the most sense of scene, and the backlight color in autumn is warmer. You can take a low position when shooting.

The light effect of side backlight is easier to master, which not only has the backlight effect, but also can easily avoid the character's face being completely black.

These two photos were taken at the same time and place with different metering modes. However, the automatic exposure lock (AE) on the camera in the above picture is used to measure the light outside the window and inside the window respectively. A total of two shutters can simply complete different light atmospheres and visual experiences.

The master did the same.

I believe you are familiar with Miller's paintings. Evening Prayer, completed on 1859, is one of Miller's most famous works. It describes a peasant couple who put down their work and prayed devoutly when the church bell rang in the distance.

Just like the name of this painting-Evening Prayer, we can feel the hint of timeliness in the painting. It must be a day's work, the sun goes down, after praying, we will go home for dinner. Although we see a still picture, it reminds us of the past of this picture a few hours ago and the future a few hours later. This is a story conveyed by a picture. To achieve this feeling, did Miller use it? Backlight? . Imagine if this work is represented by the sunny side, even if the picture has a dim sunny tone, then the time symbol of dusk will not be so obvious. Is it because we feel the backlight visually, plus the collocation of characters' movements and affiliated elements, so-called? Evening prayers? And its story, you can convince the viewer.

Going back to that place, three-dimensional photos will make you feel immersive.

If you want to go again when you look at the photos, you should use the front, middle and back scenes to pull out the layering and perspective of the space. ? Perspective composition? And then what? Tone? Can help us realize the three-dimensional sense.

From another angle, the picture is more layered.

From the main Dherdt? Hobema (1638? 1709), the picture structure is transformed into a point where linearity disappears in the distance. Of course, the trees on both sides of the road are equally tall, but visually, it makes the picture space very short in the near future and has a profound feeling. Artists at that time preferred to use this technique to create a profound three-dimensional space.

In portrait photography, we can still learn from this technique to reflect the three-dimensional sense of the picture. As shown in the above picture, I was standing with the cherry tree as the background, and suddenly I found a low flower bed at my feet, so I squatted down near the flower bed as the foreground, so the space changed from the original two floors to three floors, and the red flowers and green leaves were softened by the depth of field close to the lens, just like the color rendering on the drawing paper. When taking pictures, you should always carefully observe the elements that can be used around you to make the picture more rich and unique.

If the lens is perpendicular to flowers and people, it will lack three-dimensional sense.

Tip: follow the inspiration of pressing the shutter and forget the textbook for the time being!

Q: How to communicate with the model in a short time and make an accurate composition?

Daren replied: of course, you can quickly press the shutter to take more natural photos, but I only handed in the composition? Intuition? When shooting, I only consider whether the current viewpoint makes me feel good or bad. If it's good, I'll press it instantly. If it's not good, I'll move it quickly. This requires long-term aesthetic cultivation and exercise. I must have pressed the shutter for a reason at this time, and I can sum up a truth afterwards. But that moment was just intuition, and I didn't think or recall a bunch of composition rules mentioned in the book at the moment of shooting.

Please use a telephoto lens to compress the space.

The ultra-long focal length lens can not only narrow the foreground, but also strongly compress the space, making the picture quite compact and not affecting the subject far away from the lens. Therefore, the picture shot with ultra-long focal length lens is more concise, refined and full, which can describe and reproduce the details and texture of the scene in detail, highlight the main body and blur the foreground and background.

Because the ultra-long focal length lens can effectively draw the subject closer, strongly compress the visual space of the picture, and obtain the pattern aesthetic feeling of the overlapping scene on the basis of obviously weakening the perspective effect, which also produces the deformation force opposite to that of the wide-angle lens. Although the perspective effect is poor, it has the characteristics of obviously compressing the spatial depth distance and exaggerating the foreground.

Foggy weather can give people a better sense of depth

Photographic composition skills in solidification moment

French painter Monet is one of the founders of Impressionism. He is good at depicting the endless representation of the same scene under different light and air at different time points, emphasizing the visual experience perception of color, focusing not on the object itself, but on observing the process of color change. Monochrome will simplify the complex scenery, and make the viewer focus on the eyes of the characters, choose the correct architectural structure angle and extend the background space. Foggy days and cloudy days, because of the low atmospheric transparency, the distant scenery is more hazy and the color saturation is reduced.

The master did the same.

Through observation, we can find that Monet's works are divided into three parts: the front, the middle and the back, from a single tree in close range, crossing the lake in middle range, to a distant city and a distant mountain. The foreground is transmitted to our vision through the air layer between them, which naturally reduces the chromaticity (brightness concentration) and improves the brightness (brightness), and the outline of the foreground itself is more blurred. Compared with the dense green of the close-up tree, the contours of each other become more obvious, which immediately pulls out the illusion of far-reaching space on the plane of the picture.

Boldly create balance in imbalance.

It only takes a few simple steps to make a photo unique.

Balance is the key to an aesthetic composition, and it is also the most important point to make a picture successful or not. If it is not balanced, it will cause anxiety. This is an unfinished composition. However, if a perfect balance like a temple building is too serious, it will be more natural to achieve an appropriate balance. Use background objects to balance the main body, or use colors to fill in the blanks. Some small changes can make the picture more harmonious. So you can be here? Seeking balance in imbalance? I think it is a better image composition.

One of the six lines in the sky is more inclined than the other lines, and the person being photographed just looks up, which invisibly pulls up the sense of weight and successfully consolidates the stability of the whole picture.

The area where the wood falls is in the right half of the figure, and the direction of the wood extends from the lower left to the upper right.

If the character looks at the upper right of the screen, the center of gravity will tilt to the right, but as long as the character turns to look at the upper left, an invisible line will naturally form from the character's eyes to the upper left of the screen, weakening the situation that the center of gravity tilts to the right.
