You should carefully observe the child's back from the front and back. If there is chest-back asymmetry, that is, one side is higher than the other side, scoliosis should be highly suspected and should be checked by an experienced doctor immediately. Most scoliosis is asymptomatic in the early stage, and once found, it is more or less deformed, which affects the appearance. Teenagers should regularly check scoliosis every year. The United States, Japan and China have made spine examination a part of students' health examination. However, the inspection method generally adopts naked eye inspection. Some use suspension inspection. Some people use the flexion test to observe whether the height of the two sides of the back is different, and it is easy to miss the diagnosis by naked eye inspection. Spinal X-ray is correct, but it is expensive and radioactive, so it is not suitable for general survey or regular inspection. In China, moire camera, ordinary light source and ordinary film photography have been used for general survey, which is convenient and accurate. This method has not been widely used at present because of the need of moire camera.
