What conjectures do scholars have based on the images of people in the northern part of Jingshan Park shown in remote sensing photos?
To the north of the palace is Jingshan Park, where amazing discoveries were made in the mid-1980s. According to remote sensing photos, a human image can be clearly seen in the northern part of the park, and its face and body look very much like a certain god.
How the discovered objects looked like they came from outer space vehicles has aroused the interest of scholars. This always arouses activity and debate in the scientific community, especially in modern science: who made this object and for what purpose?
According to the traditional Chinese concept of respecting the north, this image seems to be right above the emperor (recall that Jingshan Park is located to the north of the imperial palace). But who can be higher than the emperor? Only Buddha is possible. But if you take a closer look, you will find that a long beard can be clearly seen in the image in Jingshan Park. Which Buddha has a beard?
Perhaps this image belongs to the Jade Emperor? However, will he allow people playing in the garden to trample on his "head", "body" and "beard"? It is possible that the image on the photo is that of a water god. There is a statue in the Imperial Garden of the Forbidden City of the Taoist god Xuanwu, the water god who protects the palace from fire.
There is also an assumption among scholars that this is an image of the genius architect who designed the park. No one could have noticed his boldness at that time. You must know that there was no aerial photogrammetry technology in the 15th century, and the "portrait" could not be seen using other methods.
There is another common view: this is just a coincidence. If you look at this photo taken in Jingshan Park in 1951, you can see that there is almost no difference between this photo and the photo taken in the mid-1980s. More than thirty years have passed during this period. During this period, Jingshan Park has undergone tremendous changes - the park has been renovated and greened, but these have not damaged the clarity of this portrait.
