By default, the camera application or image processing software rotates the photo by 90 degrees.

When taking a photo, the mobile phone will automatically rotate the photo according to the currently set direction. If the phone is held vertically, then the photo should be vertical. However, if you rotate the photo 90 degrees after taking a photo or editing it, it will become horizontal.
