What is Eric Solomon's life experience?

In the history of photography, German photographer Erich Salomon (1886 ~1944) had a far-reaching influence on news reporting photography.

Solomon was born into a wealthy Jewish family in Berlin. When he was young, he received a good education and obtained a doctorate in law from the University of Munich. During World War I, Solomon enlisted in the army and began to teach himself photography. 65438-0927, officially started his photography career and became a freelance photographer.

In the early 1930s, the world political situation changed, and international conferences were often held in Geneva and The Hague in Europe. Solomon appeared in various important international conferences and photographed the dignitaries of various countries attending the conference. He is proficient in seven languages, elegant and polite during the interview, and has won the praise of politicians and diplomats from all over the world. French Prime Minister Brian even asserted:

A meeting, if Dr. Solomon doesn't take photos, no one will believe that this is an important meeting.

Salomon is good at using the small camera "Elmano" and Leica to capture or sneak shots of dignitaries and celebrities who are unprepared for the scene light, so as to get real and vivid reports. In order not to attract the attention of the subject, Solomon also invented a set of camouflage techniques: hiding the camera in a hat or handbag and opening the shutter with a hidden cable release. Through these methods, he took pictures that ordinary journalists could not take, and became the most famous photojournalist in Europe at that time. In 193 1, Salomon edited and published 170 photos of celebrities entitled "Celebrities in an Unknown Age".

Solomon set a successful example for modern photo interview. The mode of "small camera+spotlight+snapshot" pioneered by him is still used by photographers all over the world, so it is recognized as the "originator of snapshot".

1932 After Hitler came to power, he brutally persecuted Jews and Solomon was forced to emigrate. 1940 was arrested by the German fascist government in May, and 1944 died in Ausenxinwei concentration camp in Poland in July.
