A Yin's Social Evaluation

After returning from Pingyao, Ayin began to have a deeper understanding and a more detailed record of nomadic culture. He drove a broken jeep that only he could start, like the waves of the grassland, and searched hard and traveled to every corner of Wudongqi. Wu Dongbanna has 50,000 residents in 70,000 square kilometers of land, and everyone knows him from children to the elderly. In their eyes, Ayin is the person who takes photos, delivers books and medicines to them, and is a "person who does great things".

These two years are also the most difficult economic period after Ayin moved to Dongwuqi. In order to take pictures, his studio business almost stopped, but he didn't want to find someone to sell his works casually. He spends more than 6,543,800 yuan a year, mainly on the film and gas of his broken jeep. Whenever I see a mining convoy driving into the grassland, causing billowing gray smoke, Ayin will take photos and scream in pain: "The grassland is destroyed! Wuzhumuqin is ruined! "

Ayin saw helplessly that the acceleration of modernization and urbanization promoted the development of animal husbandry. Factors such as herd expansion and global warming make the originally rich grassland overwhelmed and rapidly degraded. Herdsmen have to ride motorcycles to cope with the expanding grazing scale, and they have to buy pasture from other places to make up for the shortage of livestock food when winter comes. Nomads began to settle down. To make matters worse, the new generation did not want to return to the grassland, but chose to settle in the city. Photographers can't stop this change, so they can only take photos and record them desperately, and keep these images as memories of a generation and as living materials.

Ayin's behavior has been widely recognized. In recent years, his works have been exhibited in the United States, France, United Nations Headquarters and other places, and he himself has won numerous awards at home and abroad. In June 2009, Ayin combed and summarized her ten years' work, and published the album Descendants of Genghis Khan-Nomadic Mongols in China, which not only included 100 works selected from 200,000 negatives, but also included 40,000 words of background introduction about nomadic culture. Jian Jiang, the curator and photographer of A Yin's works exhibition, believes that the documentary and documentary nature of this book has far exceeded its artistry.

Ayin is the first "genius" photographer who recorded the nomadic culture of Mongolian in China in detail. Self-taught, he recorded the living conditions of Mongolians with images and explained the remaining cultures and traditions of nomadic Mongolians. In 2006, he first launched the exhibition "Nomadic Mongolians in China" in Pingyao, and in the following years, he won the honor that almost all domestic photographers dreamed of. In addition to the national film festival gold medal, the national top ten portrait photographers and other domestic photography awards, he also won the international contribution award of folk photography. He also became the first China native to win the National Geographic "All Roads" International Award, and his works have a wide influence in the world. This year, Ayin released another masterpiece, China Nomadic Mongolian School, which he completed in 20 years. This topic records the history of Mongolian basic education in China in recent 20 years with images, and also reflects the tortuous development of Mongolian education since the founding of New China in 6 1 year. In September this year, it was exhibited for the first time at Pingyao International Photography Exhibition. There are 80 works on display, which are composed of four sub-series: Gacha (village) school, Sumu (township) school, city school and private teachers. This paper describes the course of Mongolian education from the backward Gacha school, to the merged Sumu school, and then to the city school. In the past 20 years, the teaching conditions of Mongolian basic education in China have undergone earth-shaking changes. The humble room has become a modern teaching building, and the integration and optimization of educational resources have enabled every child in grassland urban and rural areas to enjoy high-quality and equal education.

During the Pingyao exhibition, this series of works became a highlight of the main exhibition area, which attracted wide attention from photographers and media at home and abroad. Curators or organizations from Brazil, France, Germany and other countries have officially sent invitations to Afghanistan and India to tour the exhibition.

10 June10, the project started in Beijing Yamato Gallery. At the opening ceremony, Xing, Deputy Secretary-General of China Minority Culture and Art Foundation, Fan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Group of China Photographers Association, Secretary-General of China Art Photography Association, Wen Danqing, Editor-in-Chief of China Photography Magazine, Li Genxing, Editor-in-Chief of China Photographer Magazine, Editor-in-Chief of Photography World Magazine, Chai Xuan, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of China Photography Newspaper, and professors from various universities attended.
