There are such a group of people who have no stable jobs and lack a material basis for their lives. Maybe they are enjoying spiritual happiness, but tomorrow they may have to face the pain of life. They are musicians who live in the underground music circle of Shucun Beijing. They have their own helplessness and hardships, but they persist in their ideals and pursuits. Music and art are the carriers of this spirit. They often bring colorful voices to our lives.
This documentary has made a panoramic scan of a complete rock era in China, thus becoming a long scroll to understand the underground rock music in China, a notebook to understand the state of music and the existence of musicians at the turn of the century in China, and a long poem for the passionate years of young people in China century.
