How to shoot the sun in professional mode
skill
1, it is feasible to shoot the sun with a mobile phone, but it needs composition and timing. If the requirements are high, you can add a lens to your mobile phone.
2. If there is no astronomical phenomenon to shoot the sun directly, there is actually not much to see, just a round bright plate, so it is best to use some clouds, mountains, leaves, buildings or other props.
3. The timing of shooting is also necessary. If you shoot the sun at noon and have no other features except the scorching sun, you can consider shooting the sunrise or sunset, which is the most spectacular and beautiful.
4. You can shoot with the foreground and choose a suitable foreground, which can not only reduce the exposure, but also increase the interest of composition.
5, the focus can be placed on the foreground or the main body, with the sun as the background, to avoid shooting the low color of other objects caused by the sun directly.
6. Sunset is suitable for silhouette, and the exposure center is located in the sun. The tone of other silhouettes will be around level 2, which will probably outline the outline and look very nice.
Parameter setting
Sunrise:150: 50; S: 1/400s,F2.2,EV:0; White balance: automatic
Sunset: is 0:50;; S: 1/2400s,F2.2,EV:0; White balance: automatic
Matters needing attention
Choose the best time to shoot the sunset, not too bright; There are colors; Contrast between light and shade, the light is just right, but the shooting space is very broad. The best time to shoot a sunset is about 20 minutes before and after sunset.
Second, the SLR shoots the sun
sunrise
The shooting time of sunrise is very short, only about 15 minutes after sunrise. At this time, the sun is goose egg yellow, the most beautiful. The sun rises quickly, then becomes smaller, becomes a dazzling halo, and the sky will light up. If the air is dry, the sun will be clear as soon as it comes out. But in most cases, the clouds and water vapor below will make the sun appear slowly without clinging to the mountain or sea level (ground level), but jump up to expose most of it, so pay attention to taking pictures at any time, otherwise it will be fleeting. At sunrise, the lines of clouds are usually not clear, far less beautiful than at sunset.
sunset
At sunset, the sky gradually darkened. The outline of the sun is clearer when it is far from the horizon, and gradually turns orange-red against the background of the sky when it is close to the ground. As the sun goes down, the light becomes softer and softer. Whether there are clouds or no clouds, it is usually seen that the sun gradually disappears after touching the sea level (ground level), and the whole process lasts for a long time. The sunset glow is generally brighter than the morning glow, and the cloud lines are clearer, which is most obvious when the sun is about to set on the horizon. After the sun fell to the ground, the scene of sunset did not end. This is the time when the flame cloud is formed, and it is also a good time to shoot.
Shooting skill
1, shoot a big red sun with telephoto.
A telephoto lens can be used to present a larger sun in a photo. In the standard picture, the focal length of the sun is only 1%. For example, the size of a solar racket with a focal length of 50mm is only 0.5mm, and the size of a solar racket with a focal length of 200mm is about 2mm, and so on.
It is of little significance to simply shoot the lonely big sun with a telephoto lens. The real purpose is to draw the distant sun closer with a telephoto lens, with people, birds, trees and scenery nearby as the foreground, and to highlight the main body by using composition techniques such as golden section, trisection and center method, and at the same time to form the contrast of distance, size and movement, and increase the interest of the picture.
2. Shoot the star line with a small aperture.
When shooting with a small aperture, you can capture the starlight from the sun. An aperture of F 16 or less is generally used for shooting. At the same time, because shooting against the sun is backlight shooting, the metering function of the camera will be greatly affected. If you use aperture priority mode, you have to add 1-2 exposure compensation to shoot. Experienced photographers suggest shooting in manual exposure mode.
3, shooting the sun aperture setting is very important.
Sunrise: At first, you usually choose a medium aperture between 5.6 and 8.0. As the sun rises, the brightness of the sky and the clarity of the surrounding environment will also change. At this time, the aperture should be reduced appropriately.
Sunset: On the contrary, the small aperture of f22~f32 has been used at first, but with the weakening of sunlight, the aperture will gradually increase. When the sun has fallen to the horizon or even lower, you can set a moderate aperture f 1 1~f 16 to emphasize the afterglow of the setting sun in the sky.
4, according to the brightness of the sun spot metering.
At sunrise and sunset, the light in the picture is relatively large, especially the light ratio and contrast between the sun and its surrounding environment are very strong.
If the sun is directly measured, at this time, because the sun itself is too bright, the camera metering system will automatically reduce the exposure, and the photographed sun will appear yellow with red. If you want to shoot a brighter sun, you can focus on the edge of the sun or clouds to improve the brightness of the sun and its surrounding environment and present a more uniform transition.
5, according to the overall picture metering
When the light ratio of each element in the picture is not much different (such as the sun is still near the horizon or blocked by clouds), matrix photometry or average photometry can be used to measure the whole picture. In this case, exposure locking is basically unnecessary after metering.
Of course, if you want to accurately expose the sky or ground scenery, you can still lock the exposure after metering the corresponding area, and then re-compose. When the sun is below the horizon, the light ratio between the brightest and darkest in the whole picture is very small. Using matrix photometry can make the whole picture exposed evenly, so as to get very beautiful colors and light and shadow.
6, surround exposure to improve the success rate
Sunrise and sunset shooting are mostly in the position of backlight, and even often shoot directly at the sun, so it is inevitable that there will be deviations in the camera's metering system or manual exposure by photographers. In order to get a film with accurate exposure and bright color, photographers often use three different exposure methods: standard exposure, reduced exposure and increased exposure. This exposure method is called bracketing exposure. At present, most digital cameras provide at least 1 level automatic surround exposure function.
7, glare point suppression
If backlight photography directly shoots the sun, glare will be produced in the lens, which will lead to the imbalance of picture contrast and spot. Sometimes this dazzling light and light spot will become the elements of creative shooting, which photographers deliberately pursue.
But more often, photographers want to get clear and clean pictures without these interferences, so they need to use a hood to suppress glare and narrow the aperture to reduce unnecessary spots.
