Video on how SLR can improve photography ability.

Let me answer this question. Single-lens reflex camera needs to use M file for manual exposure.

I have used SLR cameras to shoot videos for a long time. In recent years, I have shot some video teaching courseware, corporate videos and other video themes. I can say that I have some shooting experience. Of course, it's not authority, it's just personal opinion.

M exposure mode is usually used when shooting video. Why? There is a simple reason.

1, the shutter speed for shooting video needs to be fixed.

Many friends wonder, isn't the shutter always open when the SLR camera shoots video? Why set the shutter speed? Because although the mechanical shutter is open, the machine will still have an electronic shutter to play the role of shutter speed when shooting video, and the shutter speed will also play a role, just like the shutter speed value on the camera is the same, so it is necessary to set the shutter speed on the business camera. Generally, when shooting video, the shutter speed needs to be fixed at a value, which is usually the reciprocal of the frame rate. For example, if you choose a frame rate of 50p when the resolution is 1080, then the shutter speed needs to be set to 1/50 seconds, or slightly increased to1100 seconds. Generally, it is not necessary to adjust the shutter speed greatly, and it can be kept at a multiple of 50. Why? The reason for this is the following:

(1) The shutter speed cannot be too slow or too fast. If it is too slow, the picture will get stuck. If it is too fast, the effect of "dynamic blur" will be reduced, each frame will be "solidified" and the picture will jump.

(2) When shooting indoors, if lighting devices such as indoor fluorescent lamps are used, flicker will occur, because the frequency of China's power grid is 50hz, and if it is inconsistent with the frequency of the power grid, the shot picture will flicker. The same principle is more obvious when shooting a computer LCD screen. When shooting a computer LCD screen, adjust the shutter speed to 1/60, because the refresh rate of the computer screen is 60hz, and if it is inconsistent with this value, the screen will flicker.

2. The aperture also needs to be fixed.

How about using shutter priority mode? It is also inappropriate. The reason is also very simple. Shooting video is a record of continuous pictures, and the depth of field of the pictures needs to be stable. The automatic change of aperture will affect the change of depth of field, especially for full-frame cameras, the change of depth of field will be more obvious. This kind of video looks awkward, and the aperture should be fixed.

Therefore, using M manual exposure mode is an inevitable exposure mode for video photographers, especially those who have certain requirements for image quality.

Recently, I have been shooting videos with Nikon Z7 micro camera, which is simple and easy to use. As long as the gear is set to AUTO and D 1SP on the video, you can shoot at will. When you push and pull the zoom, it will make the main focus clear with your speed; When you change the scene, the speed will be fixed at 1/50 seconds, and the 1S0 or aperture will be constantly changed according to the light intensity of the scene, so as to achieve correct exposure and good picture.

It is inconvenient and difficult to master video with a SLR camera. If the scene remains the same, or the light remains the same, whether it is automatic, aperture priority or shutter priority. It depends on the subject matter. If you want to constantly change the scene when shooting, and the light is bright or dark, you can choose the aperture first to ensure the image quality. If the scene is well lit and the subject and subject are bright, first select the shutter and adjust the metering mode to evaluation metering. In short, the light is good and the shutter is preferred; The light is not good, so choosing aperture is preferred.

When I shoot video with a SLR, aperture priority and shutter priority have their own advantages and disadvantages. Aperture priority can ensure a reasonable and sufficient light input, but the ability to chase light may be reduced, and the image will be blurred at the moment of zooming. The advantage of shutter priority is that it can solve the problem of poor light chasing ability, but the light may become worse. When recording, I usually use the aperture first, and the effect basically meets the needs. In short, the advantages of SLR are taking photos, recording videos or using special cameras.

SLR cameras can't control the aperture and shutter when shooting video.

Automatic mode P, aperture priority mode A, shutter priority mode T(S) and manual mode M of the camera. Of these four modes, P is basically a fool mode, and A and T can also be used sometimes. Generally, mainstream photography is shot in M-files.

Let's not talk about the P-file, automatic mode, and fully automatic aperture shutter ISO (if ISO automatic is selected) to achieve the effect of normal exposure, that is, the mobile phone with higher pixels and adjustable focal length. ...

A file, aperture priority mode, you can adjust the aperture to get the fixed aperture you want. At this time, the shutter and ISO automatically realize normal exposure, which is used in some environments that need large aperture or small aperture, such as taking flowers and taking group photos. This kind of use is less.

T-range, shutter priority mode, this is used a little more, the shutter can be adjusted to the fixed shutter you need, and the aperture and ISO can be adjusted automatically. Achieve normal exposure. For example, if we shoot an athlete running, but the running place has different light and dark environments, then the shutter is set to 1/2000 to record the moment of his movement, and the aperture and ISO are automatic.

I will use manual gear in dark light, and aperture is preferred in normal light.

I replied: M manual exposure mode is an inevitable exposure mode for video photographers, especially those who have certain requirements for image quality. Aperture priority and shutter priority are not ideal choices.

Amateurs should make sure to shoot first. It is safer to use the shutter first. If they want to shoot what they want, they should use the aperture first, or use the M file as needed.

There is no such thing.

M range, exposure and focus are all in M range.
