Where is the biggest cartoon city in Shanghai?

The largest cartoon city in Shanghai was put into trial operation on March 28th. Shanghai Animation City, jointly operated by Xinhua Media, National Animation Game Revitalization Base and Huangpu Xinxin Group, will become an animation industry "incubator" integrating originality, copyright trade and information release, relying on retail channels.

Shanghai Animation City is located at the intersection of Zhejiang Middle Road and Nanjing East Road, with a total area of about 3,000 square meters. Each layer is distinguished by red, blue and yellow. The lobby on the first floor mainly focuses on overseas products, the second floor sells derivative products of well-known domestic animation brands, the third floor serves as an interactive entertainment area, and the fourth floor is a children's area with a children's photography and painting area. This is the first time that the domestic Xinhua Bookstore system has created the concept of cartoon city. Previously, only Shenzhen Xinhua Bookstore had an animation counter.

In order to solve the problem of rapid growth of animation industry but lack of original works channels, Xinhua Media decided to take the lead and use its own perfect distribution network to pave the way for the market circulation of animation works and products.
