Maybe you didn't install the full version. By default, when you publish a movie, a SWF is generated and embedded in the SWF web page (that is, HTML). Templates are used to create this.
In your case, I suggest you cancel the "Web page" option in the file/publish settings. In most cases, you can just generate a SWF test.
