Time lapse photography. How did the halo come out?

1. Set the shooting interval.

We need to set the interval time of each shooting on the INTVL option of the timing cable release controller. Of course, cameras with interval shooting function only need to set the interval time on the camera.

The interval time during the day can be set to 1 second, and the interval time at night can be between 2 seconds and 5 seconds, depending on the actual situation, and the interval time is slightly longer when the shooting speed is slow.

In addition, the total shooting time can be calculated by the following formula:

Shooting duration (minutes) = interval shooting time (seconds) ×24× final required editing duration (seconds) ÷60.

Fixed tripod

It takes a long time to delay shooting. In order to ensure the image quality, it is essential to fix the camera with a tripod. If you see many tripods standing motionless by the lake at sunset, they may be shooting in time delay!

Generally, the camera can't move when we delay shooting, because it will shake and affect the picture effect. At that time, with the help of time-delay track, camera movement during time-delay shooting was not a dream!

Time-delay track is a professional time-delay shooting equipment, equipped with stepping motor and shutter controller. Through precise electronic and mechanical control, the camera moves a certain distance on the track every time a photo is taken, so as to achieve the purpose of moving shooting.

Operation during shooting

In order to avoid zooming or exposure changes during shooting, it is best to use manual (M-file) mode when shooting time-delay photography.

If you are not sure about the settings such as shutter and aperture, you can open the aperture priority file and press the shutter to measure light, remember the best shutter, aperture, iOS and other parameters, and then use the manual file to adjust to the same file. It is essential to try to adjust according to the actual situation.

Time-lapse photography should pay special attention to the setting of shutter, because too fast shutter will cause discontinuity in the later stage, and too slow shutter will cause the loss of individual moving objects, so adjust and choose the appropriate shutter!
