Need to have a unique style

Freelance photographers mainly rely on the internet to take orders, and usually put films on social platforms to attract netizens to watch. If your photo is mediocre, it won't stand out and you won't be able to take orders. To form a unique personal style, we should not only learn the basic knowledge of photography, but also cultivate our own aesthetics, and combine the preferences of the public to find a shooting style that we are good at and everyone likes. For example, small fresh, Japanese, natural wind, antique and so on.

Need later proficiency

Freelance photographers should constantly learn the later technology, because they usually fix their own films. There are two reasons: 1, in order to get more income, good film repairers charge by piece; 2. The film repairer may not be able to repair his important sense of style. Therefore, the hotter the photographer, the harder it is. There is a saying that "filming is cool for a while and building a crematorium" means this. For many photographers, it is common to stay up late to repair the film.

Need to have soft skills

Freelance photographers not only shoot well or distribute films, but also need some soft skills, such as communication, marketing, writing and design. There are many freelance photographers online now. How to attract attention, you need to package and publicize. Including their own positioning, work design, activities and other planning. When someone comes to consult, you should also be responsible for communication, understanding customer preferences, schedule, cost delivery, etc. These are very worrying. A well-done freelance photographer will find one or two assistants to help maintain the social platform and help communicate with customers.

Income may be unstable.

Freelance photographers are also freelancers. They don't have a steady income when they are not at work, and they all take orders to earn money by themselves. In the early days of freedom or when the style is unpopular, the income may be intermittent, so you need to be mentally prepared.
