How do novices make a concise and generous PPT?

Beautiful PPT is nothing more than working hard on theme style, text typesetting, color matching drawing and expression. No matter which of these aspects is spread out, it is a big topic. Here, I simply tell you:

1. Theme style

Before designing and making PPT, it is necessary to determine a suitable theme style. For example, business PPT emphasizes rigor, truthfulness and professionalism, and can be used in simple style, European and American style and scientific style. Except for some special industries or needs, try to avoid cartoon, hand-painted and literary styles and elements in PPT; PPT related to culture and education often adopts Chinese style, hand-painted style and comic style.

There is no strict specification for the theme style of PPT, which needs to be specifically positioned according to the use environment, industry and demand of PPT. But don't just decide the theme style according to your personal preference, especially before you have enough experience.

2. Text typesetting

If you are proficient in graphic design or reading typesetting, text typesetting is definitely not a problem. But for beginners, we should emphasize the following points: writing an outline, drawing key points, giving up, rereading and drawing more charts.

It is not recommended to copy all the contents of word manuscripts into PPT, which will not only make PPT look good, but also make it more bloated, unless PPT is only used for printing and reading.

For Chinese typesetting, try to use Microsoft Yahei font, and adjust the text spacing to be loose, with the line spacing of 1.5. English typesetting can use OFFICE default spacing.

The size and quantity of fonts should take into account the environment and scene presented, be as short as possible, and highlight the key points so that readers will not have too much burden.

3. Color matching

Theme color matching should be consistent with theme style. If you don't know much about color matching, you can go to the color matching website to choose. The only thing to pay attention to is the choice of cold and warm colors in color matching. PPT for business, science and technology, medical care and higher education suggests choosing cool color as the theme color, while PPT for culture, youth education and catering suggests choosing warm color as the theme color. You can choose the color of the company LOGO as the theme color, or you can choose a beautiful website or PPT template and absorb their color matching with a color absorber.

As for the picture collocation, choose the appropriate and exquisite photo collocation mainly according to the content of PPT, and don't use the photos taken at will to reduce the style of your PPT. Using translucent shapes can improve the texture of the picture, or use tools and shapes to change the overall composition.

The selection of charts should conform to the overall style of PPT, and the color matching should be replaced by theme color and auxiliary color to make the overall color of PPT consistent. Try to choose simple styles to avoid too many effects and too many colors.
