Shandong Wuwanghu National Wetland Park is a national wetland park.

Shandong Wuwanghu National Wetland Park is located in the northwest of Jiaodong Peninsula, and its administration belongs to Longkou City, Yantai City, Shandong Province. Its geographical coordinates are 37 29'14 "-37 40' 53" north latitude and 65 438+020 34' 08 "-65 438+020 40' 32" east longitude. Shandong Wangwuhu National Wetland Park is divided into five functional areas: wetland protection area, restoration and reconstruction area, rational utilization area, popular science education area and service management area.

Wetlands in the planning area include Huang Shuihe Wetland and Wuwanghu Kutang Wetland. Huang Shuihe is the largest river in Longkou City, which originates from the western slope of Dingdang and Shan Lang Sikou of Qixia City, with a length of 55km, a drainage area of 65,438+005 k _, and an average annual runoff of 6,543.8+0.58 billion cubic meters. Flowing into the Bohai Sea, the main stream in the planning area is about 20 kilometers long. Wangwu Reservoir, located in the middle and upper reaches of Huang Shuihe, was completed in September, 1959, with a total storage capacity of 1.2 1 100 million cubic meters and a storage capacity of 72 million cubic meters. It is the drinking water source of Longkou City.

The proposed Wuwanghu National Wetland Park is located in the east of Longkou City, with the Wangwu Reservoir and the north-south Huang Shuihe as the main body, including some mountains on both sides of the reservoir, with a total area of 1702.48 hectares, of which the wetland area is 12 15.74 hectares. The establishment of Wuwanghu National Wetland Park will effectively protect the excellent water quality of Wangwu Reservoir, restore the habitat of wetland organisms, increase biodiversity, give full play to wetland functions and promote the sustainable development of local economy and society.

Shandong Wangwuhu National Wetland Park is rich in animal, plant and bird resources. The natural environment in this area is varied. Mountains, rocks, reservoirs and coastal beaches downstream of rivers and water systems are rich in food and many kinds of wild animals and plants.

Among the animals in Wuwanghu National Wetland Park, the main aquatic animals are: whitebait, carp, grass carp, crucian carp, silver carp, herring, silver carp, shrimp and other wild and artificially cultured reservoir freshwater fish and shrimp. Because there are many evergreen trees and abundant wildlife resources, it is one of the main wintering and breeding places for birds in Shandong Province.

According to the investigation results of 20 12 wetland resources in Longkou Forestry Bureau, wetland animals are mainly terrestrial invertebrates, fish and birds. This survey found that a large number of egrets, swallows, seagulls, wild ducks and other animals have high protection value.

The artificially planted plants are: grape, apple, peach, apricot, plum, walnut, cherry, jujube, chestnut, persimmon, pear and other fruit trees, vegetables and miscellaneous grains. Now it is the largest dry and miscellaneous fruit planting base in Jiaodong area. Picking gardens such as green tea garden, wolfberry garden, vineyard, apple garden and organic vegetable garden have been opened in the park.

National key protected plants: Metasequoia glyptostroboides, Ginkgo biloba, Zoysia japonica, Liriodendron chinense and other rare and endangered protected plants in Shandong Province, such as Polygonatum odoratum, wild iris, forsythia suspensa and Platycodon grandiflorum.

Wuwang reservoir

Wang Wu Reservoir is the main attraction of Wuwanghu National Wetland Park. The reservoir outlet water flows northward into Bohai Sea via Huang Shuihe.

Wang Wu Reservoir is located in the middle and upper reaches of Huang Shuihe, Longkou City, with a total area of 3,525 hectares, a controlled basin area of 320k_, and a total storage capacity of 1.2 1 100 million cubic meters. It is a large (II) reservoir integrating flood control, irrigation, urban water supply and fish farming, and it is also the largest urban domestic water and industrial water in Longkou City.

Huangshui river basin is an important commodity grain base in Longkou city, and it is also the main water source for industry, agriculture and urban residents. There are nearly 4× 108m3 high-quality quartz sand resources in Huang Shuihe estuary shoal and its nearby coast. According to the official reply of Huan Zi [2009] No.513, Longkou Huangshui Estuary Marine Ecological National Marine Special Reserve is the first national marine special reserve in Yantai with the approval of the State Oceanic Administration.

Huangshui wetland park

Longkou Huang Shuihe Wetland Park is located at the north of Huangcheng 12km in Longkou City, Shandong Province, in the coastal tourist resort of Longkou.

Huang Shuihe Estuary Wetland is located in the northwest of Shandong Peninsula, with large scale and relatively concentrated wetland resources.
