Story Summary:

Jack Robinson is a wealthy businessman, and his life revolves around only work every day. However, a family curse haunts him day and night: no descendant of the Robinson family will live past the age of 30. Just as Jack's 30th birthday was approaching, he dug up the bones of a giant. Andy, who came from heaven to earth to retrieve treasures, claimed to be a reporter to interview Jack, but a mysterious old woman actually claimed to know the whereabouts of the giant skull. At night, Jack was taken to a mysterious old woman, who told him the family story.

395 years ago, in ancient Europe, there lived a family with two mother and son. Life was very difficult, and the mother asked her son Jack, the first-generation old man, to sell off his only property - cows. When Old Jack went out, he met an old man and exchanged five peas with him for a cow. The old man told Jack: Pea has unparalleled magic power. At night, the peas scattered on the ground grew into bean sprouts and grew up into the sky. Old Jack climbed up the bean sprouts and discovered that this was another world.

There he found a giant who ruled a huge castle. The giant owned a goose that could lay golden eggs. Accompanied by the beautiful music played by the golden goddess Harmony next to her on the harp, the goose could Lay golden eggs. Old Jack stole the goose and the little golden goddess's harp and climbed down the beanstalk. But the giant pursued him, so Jack cut the bean sprouts in pieces, and the giant fell to his death. As Jack's family prospered, a curse and fear enveloped the family, and now only Jack can end the curse.

In order to save his life and the kingdom of giants, Jack must stop what happened in the past and bring the magic harp and the goose that lays golden eggs back to where they belong. The old woman gave Jack a small green bean, and the bean grew into a beanstalk. Jack managed to climb up the stem to the sky. After some efforts, Jack regained the goose and the harp. The world of giants returned to its heavenly beauty, and the curse on Jack's family was lifted.

Highlights:

"Jack and the Beanstalk" is a magical blockbuster that travels between heaven, earth, humans and gods. The special effects in the film are so realistic that it is amazing. This film is adapted from a well-known folk legend, but it subverts the traditional story in terms of plot settings. Turn the legendary evil giant into a good giant, and turn Jack, who bravely fights the evil giant, into a thief and murderer. Compared with "The Chronicles of Narnia", which is also a magical blockbuster, the storyline in "Jack and the Beanstalk" is more attractive, and it can be said that it is even better. It is also worth mentioning that the super special effects in the film are overwhelming and refreshing.
