National Geographic Teaching: How to photograph the largest tree in the world with a photo?

When shooting some special scenes, the lack of camera field coverage is a headache for many photographers. The photographer of National Geographic recently encountered such a problem. When they were filming a special topic about giant redwood trees, they came across an ultra-high redwood tree, and it was difficult to take a "makeup photo" of it with only one camera. Finally, photographer Michael "Nick" Nichols successfully presented the whole picture of one of the largest trees in the world with a photo by using jigsaw puzzles.

The shooting method is not complicated in principle, but it is more troublesome to implement. The photographer hung the camera in the air, took 126 photos in turn, and then put these photos together one by one. Some staff members stood directly on the tree to compare the height of the tree.
