We orientals are elegant in character, and our painting style is mainly implicit, illusory and charming. Therefore, Chinese painting advocates the sublimation of perceptual nature, freehand brushwork and emotional expression. Westerners, on the other hand, are bold and unrestrained, and their painting style is mainly realistic, romantic and abstract. Therefore, oil painting tends to be realistic and rational, advocating realism (similarity) and paying attention to rational expression.

3. The main modeling method of Chinese painting is line, "line modeling" is the basis of Chinese painting, and line is the most direct and concise painting language and picture skeleton of Chinese painting.

Lines pay attention to tension and truth, express emotions through cadence, and express rhythm through smooth lines. The expressive force of lines between pen and ink has also become the basic basis for judging Chinese painting works.

4. Chinese painting pays attention to "momentum" in the composition and layout of the picture, and makes the picture full of life by clarifying "subject and object" and integrating "reality". In creation, we advocate the spirit of free creation and the "natural" creative state. It can be said that Chinese painting is not limited by time and space, while oil painting strictly abides by the boundaries of time and space.

The creator of Chinese painting is from China, and the appreciator is from China, so China's aesthetic appreciation standard should be adopted.
