How to Cultivate Students' Imagination in Composition Teaching

Imagination and writing are as inseparable as trees and roots, water and sources. Imagination is an artistic ability to think and think, and seemingly insignificant faces in life will be full of gorgeous colors because of imagination. Things seem to have a unified shape, but they can become unpredictable because of imagination. A brain without imagination is a dry brain, and writing without imagination is a dry work. Therefore, composition teaching plays a very important role in cultivating students' imagination. In teaching, teachers should pay attention everywhere, tap the training points in textbooks, give students comprehensive writing training in time, encourage students to imagine boldly and cultivate students' creative thinking. Tell me my humble opinion.

First, combine the text to cultivate students' imagination. There are artistic spaces in many places in the text for readers to imagine and ponder. Teaching is to encourage students to imagine boldly and then express their understanding and imagination. When I was teaching Bird's Paradise, there was a saying: A thrush flew out, frightened by our applause, flew into the leaves again, and stood on a twig and cried excitedly. That song is very nice. "So, I seized this opportunity to guide: How will this thrush feel in this paradise-like beauty? So what song can it sing? As soon as the words came out, the students were enthusiastic and rushed to raise their hands to answer, such as: Dear tourists, do you think the scenery here is beautiful? " Hello, tourists! Welcome to my home, I hope you have a good time! "Dear tourists, am I beautiful? Please use your cameras to keep this beautiful picture. " Such an image, vivid and beautiful statement comes from the mouth of students who usually don't talk much. I really can't believe it. This kind of practice in reading makes students naturally pour out their ideas and give full play to their imagination in the dialogue with textbooks, and the classroom atmosphere is much more active. Such exercises not only cultivate students' imagination in writing, but also enable teachers to complete teaching tasks in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.

Second, start with evaluation and encouragement to cultivate students' imagination. Due to the individual differences of students, it is impossible to unify the requirements for students' compositions. Writing evaluation should be based on the goals of each period, comprehensively consider the development of students' writing level, give priority to positive evaluation such as encouragement and praise, and encourage creative imagination. The cultivation of imagination in composition teaching is not achieved overnight. Everyone deeply hopes to be recognized and appreciated by others, both adults and students. When praised and encouraged by teachers, students will be full of excitement and joy of success. The more praise you get, the more successful experiences you have, and the easier it is for students to enhance their self-confidence. Students who get good grades in homework evaluation should be encouraged and share the joy of success with them. Students with poor grades should tap the bright spots and stimulate self-motivation. Teachers should give affirmation, praise and guidance to unexpected imagination, wrong or incomplete guesses, and never use irony or sarcasm to dampen students' enthusiasm for intuitive thinking. Teachers should be good at using appreciation to encourage students and constantly protect and develop students' imagination and creativity. As the saying goes, a good word warms three winters, and a bad word hurts ten winters. Positive evaluation can reduce the bondage of students' writing, release their hearts and enhance their self-confidence. Mr. Lu Xun often said: children can be worshipped. He often thinks about the state above the stars and the moon and the situation below the ground? Once students' imaginations soar, new vivid images will appear in their minds. Every time you write such a composition, your imagination will be tempered, your life experience will be expanded, and the seeds of innovation will break ground again.

Third, arousing the source of situations, broadening the imagination and creating situations are a means to stimulate students' writing motivation. The stimulation of sound and the reproduction of pictures can turn abstract thinking into image thinking. In composition teaching, teachers should be good at carefully designing attractive writing situations close to students' lives, so that students can have something to write and find what needs to be expressed in a relaxed atmosphere. When teaching an interesting composition in summer vacation, I tried a new teaching method-listening to imaginary composition. Voice is closely related to people's emotions and thinking activities. At the beginning of teaching, after guiding students to examine questions and make clear the requirements of composition, a group of sounds are played, including birds chirping, running water, cicadas chirping, children's voices, roosters chirping and ducks chirping. Let the students listen and write down, choose some of the sounds to combine, draw up an outline of the composition according to the actual life, and then tell the interesting things to write in detail according to the outline. This group of voices once again aroused students' memories and imagination, making them feel as if they were there, and once again experiencing the richness of summer vacation life, which provided materials for students' compositions.

Through the rendering of music and the introduction of interest, students' "inner language" is strengthened, which not only makes students write easily, but also inserts the wings of imagination to complete the composition in the best state. In a word, every student is full of imagination. Only by liberating students' hands, feet and hearts, being good at guiding development, and letting students actively participate and explore independently can we better cultivate students' imagination in exercise teaching and make exercise teaching make a leap in quantity and quality.
