Introduction to underwater photography

Underwater photography and video recording. The underwater observation distance can reach 2 to 4 attenuation lengths, and the field of view angle is about 40°. The clarity and observation distance of underwater photography are much lower than those of air photography, and the contrast between the target and the background and the image resolution are greatly reduced. Due to the attenuation characteristics of water bodies on the spectrum, color photography must be corrected. In underwater photography or observation systems, aberration correction of optical objectives must be considered.
