Huang Jiaxi studied calligraphy under the guidance of his father since childhood, starting from Tang Kai and spreading all over the calligraphy of the two kings, with a solid foundation. Since 1994, his works have been exhibited in the first and second national calligraphy exhibitions sponsored by China Calligraphers Association, the sixth national calligraphy seal cutting exhibition, the seventh national young and middle-aged calligraphy seal cutting exhibition, the first national fan calligraphy seal cutting exhibition and the first national excellent works exhibition of China Calligraphy Association, and won the excellent works awards in the eighth and thirteenth national "Stars Award" competitions of the Central Ministry of Culture. Mr. Huang Jiaxi's outstanding achievements in creation have made him a leader in calligraphy. In 2002, he participated in Hubei Literature and Art Expo on behalf of Shiyan literary and art circles. In 2004, he was elected as the director of the Provincial Calligraphers Association.

Huang Jiaxi, male, 1954 was born in Zhushan, Hubei Province on February 4th. He is now a member of China Calligraphers Association and a director of Shiyan Calligraphers Association.

Mr. Huang Jiaxi, a famous calligrapher, teaches the creation of regular script for teachers and students of Chinese Department.

Mr. Huang Jiaxi, member of China Book Association, director of Hubei Book Association and executive vice chairman of Shiyan Book Association, was invited to give a lecture entitled "Learning and Creation of Regular Script" in the academic lecture hall. Leaders of the Chinese Department attended the lecture, and more than 500 teachers and students from the whole school attended the lecture. The lecture was presided over by Professor Wang Jin, head of the Chinese Department.
