Ali Plateau Tourism Experience

Xinjiang-Tibet Line 2 19 National Highway runs from Xinjiang to Ali, Tibet, starting from Yecheng, with a total length of 1070 km. I'm afraid this national highway is the worst and most dangerous in the world, and it's vast and sparsely populated. 60 kilometers out of Yecheng, the black road surface disappeared, the road was washed away by heavy rain and debris flow, and the car could only bump on the pebbles in the river bed. Along the way, we have to cross Di Ku, Mazha, Heika, Qitai, Jieshan and other big boards, and we have to walk through the snow-covered and extremely desolate and steep mountains such as Karakorum, Kunlun, Gangdise and Himalaya. From Qitai Daban to the sweet water sea on the plateau desert platform, it entered the vacuum zone at the junction of Xinjiang and Tibet. After crossing Tielong Beach and the "Dead Man's Ditch", the soldiers stood in Hongliutan for one night, and the mountain reaction followed. When passing the 6700-meter mark on the top of Osaka Mountain, the highest altitude on this line, people who first go to the plateau will basically feel dizzy, flustered and sick, and their eyes will pop out.

In the past100km, the Sodoma Valley has reached the territory of Ritu County. The beautiful Bangong Lake, with a total length of150km, is long and narrow, and the narrowest part is only tens of meters. Bangong Lake is particularly strange. The China section is fresh water, and there are an amazing number of fish. Part of India is salty water, which people and animals can't drink and fish can't grow. After driving along the lake for dozens of kilometers, it didn't take long for the car to reach shiquanhe town, the political, cultural, economic and transportation center of Ali.

After crossing the boundary mountain, we entered the Tibetan culture area. Sodoma Valley is full of green grass and flocks of cattle and sheep, which is really beautiful. Looking up, however, the hillside and the top of the mountain are as desolate as the moon and Mars, forming a strong contrast.

With a total area of 305,000 square kilometers and a population of a little over 60,000, Ali region consists of eight counties belonging to the northern Tibetan Plateau, namely Pulan, Zada, Ritu, Gaer, Gaize, Geji, Cuoqin and Longgeer.

Tulin and Guge Dynasty ruins complement each other. Tulin is located in Zhada County, 392 kilometers away from Shiquan River. Before liberation, Zada County was the religious center of Ali area and the seat of the famous Torin Temple. The average altitude is 4000 meters. The soil forest around Zada County is extremely magnificent and can be called a must. The horizontal rock landform, washed away by the flood, has formed a peculiar gully, which is steep, straight and magnificent. Among them, the soil forest in Boergou is the most spectacular, and the neat mountain looks like a earthen castle, covering an area of hundreds of square kilometers. Tuolin Temple, which stands on the bank of Shiquan River, is integrated with the soil forest, which is particularly enchanting and charming in the afterglow of sunset, and the soil forest has become a golden mountain, scarlet as charcoal.

Gangrinboqi, the "holy mountain" 429 kilometers away from Shiquan River, is the main peak of the Gangdise Mountains, with an altitude of 6,656 meters. The top of the mountain is pyramid-shaped, and the rows of rocks exposed in the ice and snow are really ingenious, like sky-high steps, straight up to lonely people. It is said that hundreds of millions of people all over the world regard it as the center of the world and believe in it devoutly. According to Tibetan customs, a circle around the sacred mountain can wash away the sins of a lifetime, and a hundred circles can make you a Buddha.

The famous site of Guge Dynasty is located on a dirt mountain about 300 meters behind Zaburang village, and it is 8 kilometers away from Zada County/kloc-0. It is extremely majestic and sacred. Its majestic appearance has fascinated many photographers, and its photographic works have won numerous awards.
