Three elements of exposure

Many babies take photos that are either too dark or too bright when they first get the camera. Mainly because they can't adjust the parameters, the camera can't be exposed normally. So everyone must understand the three elements of exposure. Only when two people interact can we take photos with normal exposure.

1. hole

f/ 1.4、f/2、f/2.8、f/4、f/5.6、f/8、f/ 1、 1/ 16。

The larger the f value of the aperture, the less the amount of light entering, the smaller the aperture and the smaller the blur. The smaller the aperture f value, the more light enters, and the larger the aperture, the greater the blur.

2. Shutter

The larger the shutter value, the more light enters and the slower the shutter speed. The smaller the shutter s value, the less light input and the faster the shutter speed.

3. Sensitivity ISO

The larger the ISO value, the more light enters, the brighter the photo and the worse the image quality. The smaller the ISO value, the less light enters, the darker the photo, and the better the image quality.

Reference of exposure value in each mode.

AV aperture priority mode:

Shooting scenery: F8-F 18 (with medium aperture and small aperture). Portrait shooting: shooting still life with maximum aperture below F2.8: F2-F56 (blurred background highlights the theme). Macro shooting: F 1.8-F5.6 shooting starlight/slow door: F 1 1-20.

Tv shutter priority mode:

Normal portrait posing:1/more than 80 seconds. Dynamic snapshot:1/more than 500 seconds. Running/flying birds/waterfalls: between 1/500 seconds and 1/2000 seconds. Slow door/taillight drawing/lighting drawing: 8 seconds /30.

M-gear pure manual mode:

Outdoor portrait:1/60s, ISO 100F 12-28 (sunny day). Indoor portrait:1100 seconds, ISO 1500 below F28. Shooting the moon: 1/500 seconds, ISO200F8. Shooting Galaxy: 30 seconds, ISO3200-6400F28.

Focus mode of camera

Single autofocus (AF-S)

Usually, after half pressing the shutter, the camera will have a "click" sound, indicating that the focus is successful. Suitable for taking some portraits, still life, wind and light, more suitable for beginners.

Continuous autofocus (AF-C)

This mode is suitable for shooting moving subjects. As long as you keep pressing the shutter to focus during shooting, you can follow the subject to focus until the end of shooting. Suitable for catching athletes or birds, etc.

Intelligent autofocus (AF-A)

It is a common focusing method. The camera will automatically select the focusing mode according to the shooting environment, which can be single focusing or continuous focusing.

Pure manual focusing (MF)

You need to manually adjust the focal length according to the shooting environment, which is relatively complicated but can't go wrong. If autofocus fails, we need to focus manually. Suitable for use when the distance is too close, such as macro or shooting small subjects.

Take you to know the focal length

The focal length of the lens will be marked on the camera lens. For example, there is only one number in 50mm, indicating that the focal length of the lens is 50mm, which is a fixed-focus lens. 18-200mm has two numbers. On the surface, the focal length of the lens is between 18 and 200, and it is a rotatable zoom lens.

1. What is a fixed focus/telephoto/wide-angle lens?

The smaller the focal length, the larger the wide angle, and the wider the picture taken by the wide-angle lens. The greater the focal length, it is called telephoto, for example, 200 mm, which can be enlarged by rotating the lens. The closer the picture is, the less content is taken. Wide-angle or telephoto lenses are suitable for taking landscape photos, while fixed-focus lenses are suitable for taking close-range portraits.

2. What is the depth of field?

The smaller the focal length, the greater the depth of field and the clearer the background, which is suitable for shooting scenery. The greater the focal length, the smaller the depth of field and the more blurred the background, which is suitable for taking portraits.

What is white balance?

K5300、K3600、K4400。

White balance (K) can affect the color temperature of photos and control the color of photos.

How to adjust the value of white balance

When the k value is >: 5000K, the color of the photo will show the effect of red and yellow, which is warmer and has a warm and stable atmosphere, suitable for shooting indoor portraits.

When the K value is 4000-5000K, the photo is in the normal middle tone, which belongs to white tone and is the real environmental color, and is suitable for shooting outdoor scenes, portraits or scenes with good light.

When the value of k is

Photometric mode of camera

1. Partial measurement

The camera will measure the light in the central part of the picture, which is suitable for scenes where the photographer occupies a relatively small part of the picture, so the light measurement will be more accurate, but it is not used frequently in daily life and is not recommended.

Spot photometry

The measurement range of point measurement is more accurate than that of partial measurement. It will measure 3% of the screen area, even if the object is not in the center. It can highlight the main body and is suitable for taking some close-up, partial or close-up photos.

3. Central key photometry

It is a commonly used measurement mode, and its measurement range will be larger than some measurement. It can be used when the subject takes up a large picture, which is suitable for shooting scenery and taking photos with many people.

Evaluation photometry

This is a very convenient measurement mode, which can be used under any circumstances. The camera will automatically adjust the exposure, but it is not suitable for use in strong light, such as 12 noon. Simple operation, recommended for beginners!
