ABSTRACT

The Stezyca oil and gas field is located in the central part of the Lublin Basin, in the southeastern part of Poland. Discovered in 1993.

Prospective horizons identified Upper Carboniferous sandstones in the river. 3D

toNow, the ten wells are completed. Summary Locate gas and oil-bearing horizons

incised-valley "I2" unit of fill sandstone. The purpose of this work will exist to improve the "I2" subunit formation of the "I" horizon by evaluating core data and the results of good log synthesis. The sandstone of the "I2" subunit was cored (completely or partially) in each well. A series of petrophysical laboratory petrology and

analyses and measurements were performed

including: natural light and UV photography, core

description, to thin sections , SEM, XRD analysis of mineral composition, rock measurements

matrix density determination, porosity, horizontal

and vertical permeability, adhesion and

saturation Power measurement and bloodshot

pressure test.

The analysis and quantitative interpretation

well logs are performed by a computer program

with a set of logging methods according to a determined algorithm

approach. Includes following regular logs the: SGR, CNL or

DSN, SLD or CDL, BHCS, DIL, DLL, MSFL,

SED.

Core data - Good log analysis integration with reference to DST and production testing allows correction of the interpretation model of the application. Repeated formation assessment results using the improved model were used to calculate gas and oil reserves in the Stezyca field. Interactions
